Samsung has revealed its 2026 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup ahead of CES 2026, led by a 32-inch Odyssey 3D model that pairs a glasses-free 3D experience with a 6K panel. The company also teased extreme refresh-rate options across the lineup, including a model that reaches 1,040Hz in a special mode.
Odyssey 3D brings glasses-free 3D to a 6K panel
The headline product is the Odyssey 3D (G90XH), a 32-inch monitor with a 6K resolution of 6144 x 3456. Samsung says the display uses real-time eye tracking to adjust depth and perspective based on viewer position, which creates a 3D effect without dedicated glasses.
At full 6K, Samsung lists up to 165Hz with a 1ms gray-to-gray response time. The monitor also includes Dual Mode, which lets you drop resolution and boost refresh rate up to 330Hz for faster gameplay.
Extreme refresh rates headline the wider Odyssey lineup
Samsung also previewed the Odyssey G6 (G60H), a 27-inch display that targets competitive players with very high refresh rates. Samsung lists up to 1,040Hz in Dual Mode, with up to 600Hz listed at QHD.
For buyers who want sharp visuals without a 3D focus, Samsung’s upcoming Odyssey G8 options expand into ultra-high-resolution formats such as 6K and 5K, plus a 4K OLED configuration. Samsung positions these models for users who prioritize image detail, contrast, and smoother motion.
Gaming features and connectivity
Samsung says the upcoming Odyssey models support modern gaming features such as AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility to reduce tearing and stutter. Samsung also highlights HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 support on select models to handle high bandwidth at higher resolutions and refresh rates.
Pricing and availability
Samsung has not shared pricing or exact release dates for the Odyssey 3D or the broader 2026 lineup. Samsung plans to showcase the monitors at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, which runs from January 6 to January 9, 2026.
Why it matters
Glasses-free 3D on a 6K panel targets a small, premium slice of the monitor market, but it signals Samsung’s push for new kinds of immersion beyond higher refresh rates alone. If Samsung expands game support and keeps the 3D effect stable across viewing positions, Odyssey 3D could turn into a real differentiator at the high end.
