Amazon has the 83-inch Samsung S90H OLED at $3,297.99, the top of a six-size line whose last two steps cost four times the first three combined. Samsung's own store runs from $999.99 at 42 inches to $1,499.99 at 65 inches, then asks $2,000 more to reach 83.

The set is a 2026 model with a 4K OLED panel, four HDMI ports and the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor. Samsung sells the same QN83S90HAEXZA on its own store at $3,499.99, so Amazon is $202 cheaper.
That leaves the $4,297.99 Amazon prints as a list price as a number nobody charges. Samsung's struck-through price for the SKU is $5,299.99, and its live price is $3,499.99, so the 23% badge is measured against neither.

What each extra inch costs across the S90H line
Samsung lists all six S90H sizes with a live price, which makes the ladder easy to read. The first 23 inches of the line cost $500. The last 18 cost $2,000.
| Size | Samsung price | Step up | Per extra inch |
|---|---|---|---|
| 42-inch | $999.99 | Entry size | Entry size |
| 48-inch | $1,099.99 | $100 | $16.67 |
| 55-inch | $1,299.99 | $200 | $28.57 |
| 65-inch | $1,499.99 | $200 | $20.00 |
| 77-inch | $2,499.99 | $1,000 | $83.33 |
| 83-inch | $3,499.99 | $1,000 | $166.67 |
Amazon charges the same $1,000 for those last six inches. The 77-inch S90H was $2,297.99 when its listing was checked on October 18, exactly $1,000 under today's 83-inch price.
Samsung's own 83-inch S85H is the awkward neighbour here. It sits at $2,999.99 on the same store page, $298 below what Amazon wants for the S90H.
What Amazon publishes about delivering an 86.9-pound TV
This is a freight-sized box. The listing gives the set as 86.9 pounds with its stand and 72.9 inches wide, and Samsung's diagram puts the stand footprint at 54.4 inches.
Amazon's Delivery and Support panel on this listing carries exactly one entry. It points to specialist customer support for large items dispatched from Amazon, reachable by phone or chat seven days a week.
Nothing else about getting it into a room is published. The listing shows no delivery date, no room-of-choice or threshold term, no installation or wall-mounting service, and no haul-away for an old set.
Amazon does link Samsung's installation manual as a PDF. The labour is left to the buyer.
How it sits against the other TVs on sale
Two other sets carry live discounts on the same check, and both are 65-inch. The TCL 65QM7L Mini LED is $898.00 from a $1,499.99 list, and the Samsung Frame Pro LS03HW is $1,497.99 from $1,797.99.
Neither is an OLED, and neither is in the same size bracket. The closest 83-inch comparison to run recently was the LG C6 at $3,499.99, which matched LG's own price rather than going under it.
Cheap screen area is available elsewhere. LG's 98-inch Nano AI at $1,499.99 buys far more picture for less than half the money, and gives up OLED contrast to do it.
What the listing does not say
Amazon shows the TV as shipped and sold by Amazon.com, with no end date on the discount. The same listing reads "Only 6 left in stock (more on the way)", a counter that cannot be checked from outside it.
Samsung does not publish which OLED panel the S90H uses, a native refresh rate for this SKU, or a brightness figure of its own. The 2,000-nit number is an Amazon listing field, and the same listing files the set at 120Hz while its bullets advertise 165Hz.
The manufacturer warranty runs one year. Prices were accurate at the time of writing and can change without notice.
