My 4 year old Dell Inspiron N5110 is running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. It is up to date with all mandatory updates but there are 67 “optional” which I am ignoring. I ran reserveWin10. cmd program and it looped. Do I really need to add those 67 optional updates?
for me, it found some issues and ran for a few minutes, but ended with a “Success” message just like you said it would–however the app still hasn’t appeared. Is there anything i can still do?
I also am having problems on my Dell 5110. Could it be device specific? I’ve done every single fix out there,am over specs, and fully updated. About to try and delete and reinstall KB3035583 lol worth a shot right?
I ran the script and instead of success I got an error. Her is a screen of the error. I hope someone can tell me what went wrong
It says C: windowssystem32/schtasks/run/TN/”Microsoft/Windows/setup/GWX/refreshgwxconfig”
ERROR: The system cannot find the file specified.
That is it. I hope someone can help
I ran the command out of C:TempReserveWin10.cmd and recieved this message

For the record I’m running a Presario CQ57 Laptop with Windows 7 Home Edition Service pack 1 and as far as I can tell it’s fully updated.
Any help?
I’m having the same problem on my Dell tablet with window 8.1 and all updates installed. Apparently the issue is the DELL part as others here have noticed. Not sure how to fix. I’ll probably try to turn off everything dell -services, ie plugins etc.
i have windows 8.1 HP Pavilion Laptop laptop and i have every upptade and i met all requirments. Still isn’t working. Can i still get windows ten without making a reservation? Someone please i need help!
The Get Win10 app says my CPU is not compatible.
I have checked all the other minimum requirements and my sustem meets them or exceeds them. The issue is with my CPU which is an Intel Core 2 Duo 6700. I have checked to see if it meets the requirements of NX/XD, VT , EM64T,SSE2 ( PAE ) which it does, my bios indicates the the Execute Disable bit is enabled. Yet it still says CPU not compatible.

Those “optional” updates are not required for the OS. It’s the “important” and “recommended” updates that Windows needs to function normally.
That is what I thought.. I should add that my computer is configured to 64 bit and Windows was updated again this week automatically.
for me, it found some issues and ran for a few minutes, but ended with a “Success” message just like you said it would–however the app still hasn’t appeared. Is there anything i can still do?

Sure you can. You don’t have to wait for the reservation app to trigger the upgrade.
You can use Microsoft’s Media Creation Tool.
We wrote a guide for it, here: How To Download Windows 10 And Create Your Own Installation Media.
It worked perfectly for me and I had been trying about a million solutions before… Thank you so much !!
