Hello Games has released the Forsaken update for No Man's Sky, introducing new collectible items, mysterious traders, additional spacecraft customization options and several gameplay improvements.
The update, version 7.10, became available on October 28, 2026, across supported platforms. Its release also coincides with the game's arrival on iOS.
One of the main additions is a collection of haunting mementos that players can recover from dangerous locations throughout the galaxy. These items can be exchanged for exclusive rewards, including new corvette modules and a living Multi Tool called the Larva Cannon.
The update also introduces a minimal HUD mode, improved navigation between nearby star systems and additional missions.
Forsaken Traders Offer New Rewards for Collecting Mementos
Players can now discover haunting mementos at infested outposts, abandoned freighters, deep space wrecks and planetary excavation sites.
However, collecting these objects involves additional danger. Spending too much time recovering them can attract hostile creatures known as boundary horrors.
The collected items can be traded with newly introduced Forsaken Traders, who can be summoned at space outposts.
These merchants offer several exclusive rewards, including new corvette cockpits, living spaces and biomechanical hull structures.
Players can also obtain the Larva Cannon, a living Multi Tool available in exchange for preserved grubs.
Additional progression rewards include a unique player title and the Larva Tank helmet customization.
Minimal HUD Mode and Navigation Improvements
The Forsaken update also introduces several features designed to improve exploration and everyday gameplay.
| Feature | What's new |
|---|---|
| Minimal HUD | Reduces compass, hazard and mission notifications |
| Seamless warping | Allows travel to nearby star systems without opening the Galaxy Map |
| Multi Tool menu | Adds a radial menu for changing modes |
| Courier missions | Introduces delivery contracts for equipped corvettes |
| Holo Arena | Adds a new challenger at deep space outposts |
| Corvette customization | Introduces additional biomechanical components |
The seamless warping feature allows players to select nearby stars directly while travelling through space.
If an active mission requires travelling to another system, the corresponding nearby star can also display a mission indicator.
Meanwhile, the new radial menu simplifies switching between different Multi Tool functions.
Additional Changes Improve Exploration and Construction
Beyond the major additions, update 7.10 includes improvements to construction, mission guidance and resource tracking.

Players can now upload orbital constructions located in deep space to the game's servers.
The Oxygen Harvester can also be placed anywhere on a planetary surface rather than requiring an established base.
Other changes include additional catalogue entries, improved mission descriptions and clearer guidance for collecting resources from asteroid belts and abandoned spacecraft.
Planetary trading outposts now feature corvette landing pads, while the Construction Research Station has received improvements to its technology research layout.
No Man's Sky: Forsaken is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and iOS.
The update continues Hello Games' support for the exploration title, with additional activities for players interested in collecting, spacecraft customization and travelling across the galaxy.
