The GMKtec EVO-X3 mini PC with AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 395, 128GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 2TB SSD is $3,799.99 on Amazon for Prime members. Amazon frames that as 31% off a $5,499.99 list price, but GMKtec's own store sells the same configuration for the same $3,799.99.
Measured against GMKtec's regular price of $4,100, the real saving is $300, not the $1,700 the Amazon listing implies. Amazon's page also states that the price is exclusively for Prime members, and it showed only four units left at the time of writing.
This is the top memory configuration: 16 Zen 5 cores, Radeon 8060S integrated graphics with 40 compute units, 128GB of LPDDR5X and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, with Windows 11 Pro. The memory is what matters, because a pool that large is what makes this class of machine interesting for running AI models locally.
What the $5,499.99 list price leaves out
The $5,499.99 figure on Amazon does not match anything GMKtec charges for this configuration. On GMKtec's EVO-X3 product page, the 128GB and 2TB model sells for $3,799.99, with a compare-at price of $4,100.
That puts Amazon's list price roughly $1,400 above the maker's own regular price. In practice, the Prime deal is a price match with GMKtec's store rather than a deep cut.
GMKtec also sells a 128GB version with a 4TB SSD for $3,999.99, down from a regular $4,349. For $200 more than the Amazon deal, that doubles the internal storage, which is worth weighing for anyone who plans to keep large model files or video projects on the machine.
Who the GMKtec EVO-X3 is built for
The draw here is memory, not gaming speed. According to AMD's spec page, the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 supports up to 128GB of 256-bit LPDDR5X at 8,000 MT/s, so this configuration is maxed out.
GMKtec's listing says the unified memory architecture lets the system share resources flexibly between the CPU and GPU. The company pitches the EVO-X3 at local AI inference, large model deployment, video production and engineering applications.
AMD rates the chip's XDNA 2 NPU at up to 50 TOPS and the whole platform at up to 126 TOPS across CPU, GPU and NPU. The Radeon 8060S runs at up to 2,900 MHz, AMD says.
For heavy creative work, the 16 cores and 32 threads boost up to 5.1 GHz, backed by 64MB of L3 cache. Buyers who mainly play games or run office apps get little from 128GB of memory and can spend far less.
Digital Citizen covered the launch of the GMKtec EVO-X3 in July. Newer rivals are already moving to AMD's next chip, including the AOOSTAR NEX495S with the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 and the updated Framework Desktop.

How the EVO-X3 compares with other mini PCs on Amazon
The other mini PCs on Amazon at the time of writing take a different route. Most pair a mobile processor with a discrete graphics card and far less memory.

The ASUS ROG GR70 for $2,599 is the gaming option, with a Ryzen 9 9955HX and a GeForce RTX 5070 mobile GPU. Its Amazon listing does not state how much memory it has.
The sinbun Mini Gaming PC for $1,799 and the TOPGRO T1-Pro for $1,699 both ship with 8GB graphics cards and 32GB of system memory. Their listings pitch them at gaming, and 8GB of video memory is a small fraction of the 128GB pool the EVO-X3 shares between CPU and GPU.
At the other end, the GEEKOM A5 for $479 shows what an office mini PC costs. It has a 15W Ryzen 5 7430U, 16GB of upgradable RAM and a 1TB SSD, according to its listing.
What to check before buying the EVO-X3
GMKtec lists WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 2.5G Ethernet, USB4 at 40Gbps and HDMI 2.1. The OCuLink PCIe Gen4 x4 port accepts external GPU docks, though the listing warns that it does not support hot plugging.
GMKtec's product page does not publish the chassis dimensions or weight, and warranty terms for Amazon and GMKtec store purchases are not listed on the pages checked. Amazon also does not say when the Prime price ends, and prices were checked on September 19, 2026, so they can change at any time.
