Walmart has rolled out a major price cut on a premium LG OLED TV, dropping the cost of a 65-inch model by more than $1,000 and pushing the deal into near record-low territory.
The retailer now sells the LG 65-inch C5 Series OLED Smart TV for $1,396.99, down from its original list price of $2,499.99. That puts the total savings at $1,103, a steep discount for a current-generation OLED model.
What TV is discounted
The deal applies to the LG 65-inch C5 OLED evo AI Smart TV (OLED65C5PUA), a 2025-series model positioned above LG’s entry-level OLED lineup. The C5 series focuses on improved brightness, refined image processing, and expanded smart TV features compared to older generations.
Key specs include a 4K OLED panel, a 120Hz native refresh rate, and support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG. LG also equips the TV with webOS 25, which adds updated AI-based picture and sound modes alongside broader streaming app support.
Why the price drop matters
Price cuts of this size usually appear late in a product’s life cycle or during major clearance events. In this case, the discount applies to a relatively new OLED model, which explains why the deal has gained traction across deal trackers and consumer tech outlets.
At roughly $1,400, the 65-inch C5 now competes directly with mid-range QLED and Mini-LED TVs, while still offering the contrast and pixel-level lighting control that OLED panels deliver.
Availability and stock notes
Walmart lists the TV as limited availability, suggesting the deal may not last long or could vary by region. Similar OLED discounts often fluctuate quickly once inventory tightens.
What’s next
With CES-driven product announcements, like the recent LG Gallery TV debut, underway, more TV discounts may follow in the coming weeks. However, discounts exceeding $1,000 on current LG OLED models remain uncommon, making this Walmart deal stand out while stock lasts.
