Chinese computer maker Sugon has introduced the N50 Pro, a premium laptop aimed at AI and professional workloads with support for up to 64 CPU threads, 128GB of memory, 8TB of storage, and a dedicated GPU with 16GB of VRAM.
Sugon is calling the machine the "Thread Beast" and is positioning its unusually high thread count as the main advantage.
The company has not yet disclosed the exact processor model, price, or launch date.

Sugon Is Targeting Heavy Multithreaded Workloads
The N50 Pro stands out because Sugon says its processor can provide 64 threads.
Most current high performance laptop processors offer significantly fewer threads, so this configuration is clearly aimed at workloads that can take advantage of heavy parallel processing.
Sugon claims the processor can boost to 4.30GHz on a single thread.
The company also says a fluid dynamics simulation that previously took 2.4 hours could be completed in around one hour on the N50 Pro.
That is a vendor supplied workload comparison, so actual gains will depend on software, processor configuration, cooling, and system power limits.
Exact CPU Model Has Not Been Confirmed
Sugon has not named the processor inside the N50 Pro.

The graphics processor is listed with a 3.3GHz base frequency and is promoted for local AI workloads as well as professional graphics tasks.
In one demonstration, the system reportedly ran a 35 billion parameter mixture of experts model at more than 50 tokens per second.
That result should be treated as workload specific because AI inference speed depends heavily on model format, precision, memory use, software optimization, and generation settings.
4K 120Hz Display Targets Professional Work
The laptop includes a 4K display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Sugon also claims a 93% screen to body ratio and color accuracy below Delta E 1.
If those specifications are maintained in retail models, the panel could be useful for creative and technical work as well as general productivity.
