The listed model is LS27DG602SNXZA, the US version of the G60SD. It pairs a flat 27-inch QD-OLED panel with QHD resolution and a 360Hz maximum refresh rate.
Why it matters: the $899.99 list price matches the MSRP on Samsung's US product page, so this is a real cut from Samsung's own pricing rather than an inflated reference.
Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 G60SD specifications
Samsung announced the monitor on January 3, 2024, at CES 2024. According to Samsung's UK spec sheet, it has a 0.03ms (GtG) response time and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
Brightness is modest on paper, with a typical 250 cd/m² figure. However, the static contrast ratio is listed at 1,000,000:1, and the panel uses a matte, glare-free coating.

The stand is the less obvious strength here. Samsung's UK product page lists 120mm of height travel plus tilt, swivel and full pivot into portrait mode, along with a 100 x 100mm VESA pattern.
The Amazon listing copy describes a Pulsating Heat Pipe cooling system and thermal-modulation algorithms that lower brightness based on predicted surface temperature. That burn-in mitigation has been reported only in the retail listing, and the same wording was not found on the Samsung.com pages checked.
HDR certification and warranty details do not line up
Two details differ depending on which Samsung document is consulted. The first is HDR certification.

The warranty is the second discrepancy. Samsung's US OLED monitor category page mentions a 3-year warranty with burn-in coverage on select models only, without naming the G60SD.
Meanwhile, the UK spec sheet for this exact model lists a standard 24-month warranty with no burn-in term. The Amazon listing title mentions a 3-year warranty, but Samsung does not publish the warranty length for the US SKU on its own site.
How the Odyssey OLED G6 compares with other OLED deals on Amazon
