Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB price drops to about $333 in Japan

AMD’s Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB is getting cheaper in Japan, with the Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 9060 XT OC 16GB now listed from ¥52,800. That works out to around $333 or €286 before regional pricing differences, making it one of the more noticeable Radeon RX 9000 price drops in the market right now.

The pricing comes from GAZLOG’s tracker, which shows that the card has fallen by 10.4 percent over the past 30 days. The same tracker says this is the lowest price recorded for the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB in Japan during 2026.

Lower Japan pricing suggests Radeon RX 9000 cards may finally be moving closer to normal levels

The Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB had reportedly stayed in the high ¥50,000 range for months because of higher memory pricing. At one point after launch, the card reached around ¥78,000, making the current ¥52,800 listing a much more attractive level for buyers.

This does not mean the RX 9060 XT 16GB is suddenly cheaper everywhere. GPU pricing still varies heavily by country, retailer, tax, supply, and local demand. Some regions may continue to see much higher prices, especially where Radeon RX 9000 cards have not settled near expected levels.

Still, Japan’s pricing is worth watching because it may show a broader shift. If demand has slowed after months of higher prices, retailers may need to discount stock to keep cards moving. That is usually how GPU pricing starts to soften, even if the change does not reach every region at the same time.

The RX 9060 XT drop also follows similar movement for the Radeon RX 9070 XT. That card recently fell to ¥87,800 in Japan, going below ¥90,000 for the first time. There have also been reports of RX 9070 XT models in the UK moving closer to MSRP.

For gamers, the main question is whether these price cuts spread. A 16GB graphics card at around $333 looks much more competitive than the inflated prices seen after launch, especially for players who want more VRAM without moving into expensive high end cards.

The Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB sits in a part of the market where price matters a lot. Buyers in this range are usually looking for strong 1080p or 1440p performance, enough memory for newer games, and decent value. If the card remains too expensive, it becomes harder to recommend against faster or better priced alternatives. If it continues dropping, it becomes more interesting.

The current ¥52,800 listing is not the lowest all time price in GAZLOG’s tracker, but it is the lowest seen this year. That makes it a positive sign for anyone waiting for Radeon RX 9000 cards to become more reasonable.

For now, this is a Japan specific price movement rather than a global reset. But after months of high GPU pricing, even one clear regional drop is useful to track. If more retailers follow, AMD’s mid range Radeon cards could become much easier to recommend.
