Philips has launched the 24B2D5300, a business monitor with a screen on both sides. The idea is simple but useful: one display faces the worker, while the other faces the customer, visitor, patient, or client.
This design is made for places where two people need to view information at the same time from opposite sides of a desk. That includes hotel reception counters, banks, healthcare desks, service counters, offices, and checkout areas.
Instead of turning one monitor around or adding a second display with extra cables and stands, the Philips 24B2D5300 builds both screens into one standalone unit. Each side has a 24 inch IPS panel with up to 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The monitor can mirror the same content on both screens, or it can split work across the two displays. That gives businesses more control over how they use it. A receptionist could keep internal tools on one side while showing forms, check in details, appointment information, or payment information on the other side.
This could also help reduce awkward customer interactions. In many offices or service counters, staff often have to explain what is on screen without showing it clearly. A dual sided monitor lets the customer see only the information meant for them, while the worker keeps control of the main workflow.
Philips says the 24B2D5300 is useful for secure handling of sensitive data too. That will depend on how businesses set up the software, but the hardware design does make it easier to separate public facing and staff facing content.

The 120Hz refresh rate is also unusual for this type of business display. It is not a gaming monitor, but smoother motion can still make scrolling, forms, and interactive apps feel more responsive.
The port setup should make installation easier. Both displays include USB Type C and HDMI, so businesses can choose how to connect the monitor depending on their existing systems.
The 24B2D5300 is not aimed at normal home users. It is a practical workplace display for businesses that often need to share screen content across a desk. Its value comes from replacing a messy two monitor setup with one cleaner device.
At £359.99, the Philips 24B2D5300 is a niche product, but it solves a real problem for customer facing environments. It will begin shipping in June 2026.
