Palit has introduced the GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3 series, adding two new custom RTX 5080 graphics cards to its current lineup. The new models use an all black triple fan design and are aimed at buyers who want a cleaner, darker build style without extra visual noise.
The lineup includes the GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3 OC and the standard GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3. Both cards use the same core hardware, with 16GB of GDDR7 memory, a 256 bit memory bus, and 30Gbps memory speed. The main difference is the boost clock.
The OC model is listed with a 2625MHz boost clock, while the standard model is listed at 2617MHz. That is only a small difference, so real world performance between the two should be very close unless cooling or power limits differ more than the listed specs suggest.
| Model | Boost clock | Memory | Memory bus | Memory speed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3 OC | 2625MHz | 16GB GDDR7 | 256 bit | 30Gbps |
| GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3 | 2617MHz | 16GB GDDR7 | 256 bit | 30Gbps |
Palit is using its TurboFan 4.0 cooler for these cards, along with composite heat pipes. The company claims TurboFan 4.0 improves noise and thermal optimization by 33 percent, while the heat pipe design improves heat transfer efficiency by up to 32 percent. These are internal test claims, so independent reviews will be needed to see how the cooler performs in normal PC cases.
The cards are large but not extreme compared with some high end GPU designs. Each model measures 331.9mm by 127.1mm by 56.8mm, making it a 2.8 slot graphics card. You will still need to check case clearance before buying, especially in smaller mid tower builds.
| Feature | Palit RTX 5080 Infinity 3 |
|---|---|
| Cooler | Triple fan TurboFan 4.0 |
| Slot size | 2.8 slot |
| Length | 331.9mm |
| Display outputs | 1 HDMI 2.1b, 3 DisplayPort 2.1b |
| Power connector | 16 pin |
| Interface | PCIe 5.0 x16 |
The display output setup is standard for a modern high end card, with one HDMI 2.1b port and three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs. Power is handled through a single 16 pin connector.

This launch also comes after Palit clarified its position around the GALAX, KFA2, and HOF brands. The company said those brands are now managed directly by Palit Group and will continue under the same GPU roadmap. That means the Infinity 3 launch should be seen as part of Palit’s normal RTX 50 series rollout, rather than a sign of a wider brand shift.
Pricing and regional availability were not detailed in the report. For now, the RTX 5080 Infinity 3 looks like a simple but practical custom option for buyers who want a black RTX 5080 with a large triple fan cooler, modern display outputs, and a modest factory overclock on the OC model.
