Neverness to Everness will keep growing after launch with new cities, systems, and console plans under review

Neverness to Everness is not being treated as a one time launch by Hotta Studio. The developer says the supernatural urban open world RPG will continue expanding with new city districts, anomaly zones, story chapters, gameplay systems, and possible support for more platforms in the future.

The game is set in Hethereau, a large modern city filled with supernatural incidents. Instead of focusing only on combat, Neverness to Everness is built around a wider city life fantasy. You can explore, fight, own homes, customize vehicles, socialize, and take part in daily activities between story missions.

Hotta Studio says its long term goal is to make the game feel like a living city that keeps changing after launch. Future updates are planned to add new areas inside Hethereau, but the studio also teased travel to other cities and regions later. Specific details are still being kept quiet.

The game has already launched on PC, PS5, Android, and iOS. Steam, PlayStation 5, and mobile are part of the global release plan, while other console platforms are still being evaluated. That means Xbox Series X and S and Nintendo Switch 2 are not confirmed yet, but they are being considered. GeForce Now support is planned for the open beta version.

The studio says the main hook is the mix of open world exploration, action combat, and urban life simulation. That means Neverness to Everness is trying to stand apart from other gacha RPGs by making the city itself a major part of the experience.

Traversal will include more than cars and bikes. Players will be able to move through the city by sliding, climbing, using fast travel, riding subways, taking elevators, and using other transport systems. This should help the city feel more vertical and active.

Character relationships are also part of the plan. Hotta Studio wants each character to feel more personal through exclusive stories, hangout events, daily interactions, and voice work. Co-op is also a priority, with support for open world exploration, dungeon play, shared sightseeing, and apartment based social features.

Combat will focus on team strategy through character roles and Ether Linkage systems. The developer says it wants to avoid one fixed meta and will continue adjusting balance based on real combat data.

Performance is another long term focus. Hotta Studio says it will keep optimizing the game so midrange and cost effective devices can continue running it smoothly, even as the game grows with new content.

Neverness to Everness is aiming for steady growth rather than a small post launch roadmap. If Hotta Studio can deliver frequent updates without losing performance or balance, the game could become a long running urban RPG instead of another short lived gacha launch.
