Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is adding another digital preorder bonus, with Xbox players getting a special version of the new Inner Circuit M4 Weapon Blueprint.
The bonus is available across all digital editions, but its appearance changes depending on the platform. Xbox Series X and Series S players will see a translucent green version inspired by classic Xbox hardware, while players on PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 will see a different military style design.
The weapon itself remains identical across platforms.
Xbox gets a special 25th anniversary design
The Xbox version of the Inner Circuit Blueprint is being used to mark the platform's 25th anniversary.
Its translucent green appearance is intended to reference older Xbox hardware and expose some of the weapon's internal visual details.

The included attachments are the 11.5 inch Shortline Barrel, FTAC Dominion Muzzle, FSS Fireline Grip, SZ Prima 4 Dot Optic and ZLR ASP50 Stock.
Activision says these parts and the weapon's performance are the same regardless of the platform being used.
The appearance depends on where you play
The unusual part of the promotion is that the green Xbox design is not simply a selectable cosmetic.
Instead, the game determines which version of the blueprint you see based on the platform running it.
That means an Xbox player will see the translucent green anniversary treatment. A PC, PS5 or Switch 2 player will see the military style version instead.
This also applies when players from different platforms appear in the same match.
For example, a PC player facing someone on Xbox will still see the military style version of that opponent's weapon. The Xbox player will see the green version on their own screen.
The anniversary appearance therefore works as a platform specific visual treatment rather than a universally visible skin.
Bonus is limited to digital preorders
The Inner Circuit M4 is being offered as a preorder incentive for digital copies of Modern Warfare 4.
Activision says the bonus applies to all digital editions, but the article does not indicate that physical copies receive the same offer.
The new blueprint joins an already broad collection of preorder rewards that includes operators and weapon cosmetics.
Modern Warfare 4 launches October 23
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled to launch on October 23, 2026.
It will be available on PC through Steam, Xbox and Battle.net, as well as Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
The Inner Circuit promotion does not give Xbox players a different weapon mechanically. Its main distinction is the green visual treatment tied to Xbox's anniversary, while the underlying M4 setup remains the same on every supported platform.
