And they’re actually useful, especially if you have a lot of open tabs to keep track of, as you can create multiple groups and personalize each one. Use one color for your shopping group, a different one for work, and a third color to plan your vacation. That way, you can always keep track of what’s open. How to create a tab group in Microsoft Edge

If you’re having a hard time keeping track of your tabs in Edge, it’s easy to create a group for them. Right-click or press-and-hold any open tab to access a contextual menu. Use the options at the top to choose a name and a color for your new Edge tab group. When you’re done, press Enter on your keyboard or click or tap outside the window to save your changes. There are several ways to remove tabs from a group. The simplest is to right-click or press-and-hold the tab you want to remove. Then, click or tap Remove from group in the contextual menu.
