Forza Horizon 6 brings back Barn Finds, giving you 15 hidden cars to discover across its Japan map. These cars are not available from the start. You need to progress through the Discover Japan collection journal, unlock new exploration tiers, and then search the marked areas on the map.
Barn Finds work differently from Treasure Cars. When a Barn Find becomes available, the game gives you a broad purple search zone instead of an exact location. You then need to drive around that area and find the barn yourself. After you discover the car, it goes through a restoration process before you can use it.
To unlock every Barn Find, you need to reach the gold stamp in the Discover Japan journal and become a Master Explorer. You can increase your exploration rank by completing exploration challenges, Street Races, Touge Battles, smashing Regional Mascots, and finishing other map based activities.
If you want to make the search easier without buying the Treasure Map, Drone Mode is the best option. Fly around the purple search circle, look for the barn, and once you find it, the location will be marked so you can drive there.

The spread of cars gives Forza Horizon 6 a strong mix of Japanese legends and international classics. Some of the best rewards are tied to later exploration ranks, so you will need to spend time uncovering the map before the full list becomes available.
The Japanese lineup is the clear highlight. Cars like the Honda NSX R GT, Toyota 2000GT, Nissan Skyline 2000GT R, Pennzoil Skyline GT R, Nissan R390 GT1, Tomica Skyline Turbo, and Mazda 787B make Barn Finds especially valuable for players who enjoy rare performance cars from Japan.

There are also several non Japanese picks, including the Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500, Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3, Peugeot 205 Turbo 16, Lincoln Continental, Lamborghini Diablo SV, and Mitsubishi Montero Evolution. This gives the feature more variety and makes the hunt worth doing even if you are not only chasing Japanese icons.
The key thing to remember is that Barn Finds are tied to exploration, not normal racing progression alone. If you want all 15 cars quickly, focus on activities that raise your Discover Japan rank. Once you reach each new stamp tier, check the map for new Barn Find zones and use Drone Mode to narrow the search.
Forza Horizon 6 uses Barn Finds to reward players who take time to explore beyond the main events. With 15 cars hidden across multiple regions, the feature gives you a strong reason to slow down, search the map, and build a garage with some of the game’s most interesting classics.
