Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is $7.49 on the Nintendo eShop for Switch 2, down $42.50 from $49.99, in a Square Enix Harvest Sale that runs until Monday, November 16. Add Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade at $7.99, and the first two chapters of the remake trilogy cost $15.48 together.

That is less than a quarter of what the finale costs to preorder. Final Fantasy VII Revelation arrives on Thursday, April 8, 2027, and its Switch 2 preorder starts at $69.99 with no discount.
The sale went live on Monday, November 2, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific on November 16, according to Nintendo's US sales and deals page. For anyone who skipped the first two games, a catch-up that normally costs $89.98 now costs about $15, with five months to play before the story ends.
How much Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth cost on Switch 2
Both discounted versions are built for Switch 2, and their store pages warn that neither runs on the original Switch. Remake Intergrade covers the escape from Midgar and includes the INTERmission episode, while Rebirth follows Cloud and his friends out into the wider world.
The Digital Deluxe Editions are cut almost as hard. Rebirth's falls from $69.99 to $10.49, a $59.50 saving, and Remake Intergrade's drops from $59.99 to $11.99. If you already own Rebirth, the Digital Deluxe upgrade costs $3 instead of $20.
Playing in order pays off inside the game, too. Save data from Remake Intergrade unlocks the Leviathan summon materia in Rebirth, and save data from the INTERmission episode adds Ramuh.

Dragon Quest and classic Final Fantasy deals in the Harvest Sale
Dragon Quest is the other big draw. The Dragon Quest HD-2D Erdrick Trilogy Collection for Switch 2, which pairs the Dragon Quest III and Dragon Quest I and II remakes, drops $35 to $64.99. Dragon Quest VII Reimagined on Switch 2 falls from $59.99 to $38.99.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, an original Switch game, is 85% off at $5.99, down from $39.99.
Older Final Fantasy entries are cheaper as well. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is $29.99 instead of $49.99, and the Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is half price at $24.99. The Final Fantasy I-VI Bundle drops from $74.99 to $44.99.
Life is Strange, NieR and Octopath Traveler discounts on Switch
The sale reaches well beyond Final Fantasy. Life is Strange: Double Exposure Ultimate Edition comes down $48, from $79.99 to $31.99, while the standard edition is $19.99.
NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa Edition costs $15.99, down from $39.99. Triangle Strategy falls from $59.99 to $23.99, and Octopath Traveler 0 is half price at $24.99. All three are original Switch releases.
Will both Final Fantasy VII games fit on your Switch 2?
Space is the real catch. Rebirth's Switch 2 download and Remake Intergrade each need more than 90GB, according to their store listings, so keeping both installed takes more than 180GB.
The console ships with 256GB of internal storage, and Nintendo reserves part of it for the system. Extra room comes only from microSD Express cards, so price a 512GB microSD Express card if you plan to keep both games installed.
Prices on the eShop can change, but the Harvest Sale discounts are set to hold until 11:59 p.m. Pacific on November 16. Buy both now and $15.48 covers the first two acts, leaving the $69.99 finale as the only full-price ticket in the trilogy.
