Crimson Desert has received another major patch, and this one brings both new combat content and an important technical fix for PC players. Patch 1.07 is now live on all platforms except the Mac App Store, giving you more bosses to fight again through the Rematch system while also addressing a crash tied to AMD’s 26.5.1 driver.
The Rematch feature was added recently with patch 1.05, allowing you to challenge defeated bosses again. With update 1.07, Pearl Abyss has expanded that system with five more bosses. This gives players more reason to return to older fights and test new builds, skills, and combat styles.
| New Rematch boss | Location |
|---|---|
| Muskan | Bonepit |
| Corrupted Caliburn | Fort Musket |
| Goyen | Spire of the Sun |
| Draven, the Crowcaller | Church of West Demeniss |
| Clockwork White Horn | Gate to Advancement |
The patch also adds new unarmed combat options. Damiane now gets unarmed skills, which can be found by selecting “Fists” in the skill menu. Damiane and Oongka also receive Aerial Stab, while Kliff gets Blinding Flash Finisher for unarmed combat.
Pearl Abyss has also improved unarmed fighting in general. Most unarmed attacks and skills can now hit enemies lying on the ground, which should make close range combat feel more consistent. Damiane’s unarmed movement animation has also been improved.

Mount options are expanding too. Patch 1.07 adds more wolf and bear types that can be registered as mounts, along with reins for certain mounts. This follows the recent update that added more mount variety, including animals such as bears, tigers, and raptors.
The most important fix may be the AMD driver crash issue. Players using AMD driver version 26.5.1 had been affected by GPU crashes, and update 1.07 finally addresses that problem. For affected PC players, this could make the game much more stable.
Crimson Desert has been receiving frequent updates since launch, and Pearl Abyss appears to be moving quickly on both player requests and technical fixes. The game has also had a strong commercial start, with millions of copies sold in its first month. The studio is exploring DLC as well, although it has not confirmed whether extra content will be produced.
