Amazon is selling the Corsair VOID Wireless v2 gaming headset for $89.99 at the time of writing, cutting $40 from its $129.99 list price. That 31% discount is not an Amazon exclusive, because Corsair is running the same $89.99 price and the same $40 saving on its own store.
The VOID Wireless v2 is a wireless gaming headset with 50mm drivers, both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connections, RGB lighting and a fixed omni-directional microphone.
The distinction matters because the $129.99 anchor is a genuine Corsair MSRP rather than a list price nobody charges.
What the $89.99 Corsair VOID Wireless v2 price actually means
Corsair’s own product page for the Carbon colorway reads "Current price: $89.99 - Original price: $129.99 - Discount: $40.00", with free shipping.
This is a manufacturer promotion mirrored on Amazon, not a retailer undercutting the maker, and the saving is real in either place.
Corsair attaches an end date to its own price. Its product data lists the promotion as valid until October 10, 2026.
Amazon publishes no end date and no lightning-deal status, so that date covers Corsair’s store alone.
Alongside the new unit, the Amazon listing carries a separate offer in "Used - Good" condition at $71.17 from Amazon Resale, which is not the deal described here.
The $89.99 offer is the new one, shipped and sold by Amazon.com. No primary price history is available, so there is no basis for calling $89.99 a record low.

One of those numbers disagrees across the two pages. Corsair lists impedance as 32k Ohms at 1kHz, while Amazon’s own product table for the same headset says 32 ohm.
Corsair also says the NVIDIA Broadcast processing requires a compatible GeForce RTX graphics card, a condition the listing does not spell out.
Wireless modes, platform support and the battery conditions
Corsair says the headset switches between low-latency 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth at the press of a button. The 2.4GHz mode uses a bundled USB transmitter.
Platform support is where Corsair contradicts itself. Its spec table lists PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and 5, and mobile, leaving out the Nintendo Switch.
The marketing panel directly above that table shows tiles for PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile and tablet, leaving out the Mac. Amazon’s listing title names PC, PS5 and Switch.
Neither source says which connection each platform is meant to use. No Xbox support is claimed anywhere on Corsair’s page for this model.
The battery figures split by connection. Corsair rates the headset at up to 70 hours over 2.4GHz and up to 130 hours over Bluetooth, and the listing quotes only the lower number.
Amazon’s listing adds a condition Corsair’s page does not. Its first bullet footnotes the 70-hour claim as applying "via 2.4GHz wireless and RGB off", so the lighting has to be off to reach it.
Neither page publishes a test volume. Anyone pairing it over Bluetooth on a PC should know that Windows 11 has shipped fixes for Bluetooth audio and microphone faults.
How the VOID Wireless v2 compares with other wireless gaming headsets
All three alternatives below run 2.4GHz and Bluetooth, and were checked on Amazon at the same time. Each has a detachable microphone, which the VOID Wireless v2 does not.

The Razer Barracuda X at $69.00 is 31% off and the cheapest of the four, though it drops to 40mm drivers and 50 hours.
The HyperX Cloud III S Wireless at $129.99 costs $40 more and roughly doubles the rated battery life, at 120 hours over 2.4GHz and 200 hours over Bluetooth.
The Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT at $199.99 is the step up inside Corsair’s own range. Its spec page claims a wider 20Hz to 40kHz response and a detachable mic, but only up to 15 hours of battery.
Corsair sells the Virtuoso XT for $199.99 on its own store too.
For cheaper wired options there is the Corsair HS65 Surround at $59.99 and the HyperX Cloud III at $57.99. At the other end sits the Logitech G Astro A50 at $239.
What Corsair and Amazon do not publish
Corsair lists no weight for this headset in grams or pounds, calling it only a lightweight design, and Amazon gives no figure either. Corsair’s spec table for this SKU also carries no warranty term.
Neither page says which wireless mode each console uses, and the Switch and Mac entries still contradict each other between Corsair’s spec table and its own marketing panel.
