Biostar has clarified that its upcoming AMD motherboard showcase at Computex 2026 will focus on refreshed 800 series boards, not a new generation of AMD motherboards.
The clarification matters because Biostar’s earlier wording used “next gen” language, which raised questions about whether the company was preparing early boards for AMD’s future Ryzen Zen 6 processors. Biostar has now said that is not the case.
The company plans to show new 800 series AMD motherboards at Computex Taipei 2026. These will sit alongside its Intel 800 series boards, VALKYRIE gaming lineup, AI PC platforms, AMD Radeon RX graphics cards, DDR5 and DDR4 memory products, and PCIe M.2 and SATA SSDs.
Biostar will also use Computex to highlight its wider AI and industrial hardware plans. Its theme for the event is “Leading AI, Innovating the Future,” with products covering edge AI systems, AI PCs, industrial motherboards, and embedded computing.

On the AI side, Biostar plans to show systems built around NVIDIA Jetson platforms, along with AI PC solutions powered by Intel and AMD processors. The company says these systems are aimed at real time AI inference, industrial use, smart infrastructure, and consumer hardware.
For industrial and embedded markets, Biostar will present W880 based industrial motherboards, plus platforms supporting Intel Panther Lake and NVIDIA Jetson Thor.
Here is a quick look at what Biostar plans to show:
| Category | What Biostar plans to present |
|---|---|
| AMD motherboards | Refreshed 800 series designs |
| Intel boards | Intel 800 series motherboards |
| Gaming hardware | VALKYRIE gaming series |
| AI PCs | Intel and AMD powered AI PC platforms |
| Edge AI | NVIDIA Jetson based systems |
| Graphics cards | AMD Radeon RX series products |
| Memory and storage | DDR5, DDR4, PCIe M.2 SSDs, and SATA SSDs |
| Industrial hardware | W880 boards, Intel Panther Lake, and Jetson Thor platforms |
The update clears up the biggest question. Biostar is not confirming Zen 6 motherboards at Computex. The company is instead preparing refreshed current generation AMD boards while also using the event to show its broader AI, gaming, storage, and industrial computing lineup.
