Four ASUS products recommended for the business users

A few days ago, I was invited to a local ASUS Open Platform Business 2022 event, where the Taiwanese company presented its newest and most interesting products for the business sector. Some of their solutions were aimed at the small and midsize business (SMB) sector, while others are a good fit for all companies, including large enterprises. Here are the products that I enjoyed the most and which I recommend to business users in 2022:

ASUS Mini PC PB62 - Durable and customizable

ASUS Mini PC PB62 is a small-sized computer with a hardware configuration that can be personalized according to your budget and computing needs. It can be equipped both with entry-level processors, like an Intel Celeron G5905 running at 3.5GHz or a Core i3-10105 at 3.7GHz, and with more performant processors like the Core i5-11400 at 2.6GHz or Intel Core i7-11700 at 2.5GHz. This mini PC can have 4 GB, 8 GB, or 16 GB of RAM DDR4 and an integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 chip. Storage space is also highly customizable, starting with an M.2 NVMe SSD with a capacity of 128 GB and up to 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB. You can also equip it with a classic HDD with a capacity of 1 TB and 7200 rotations per minute (rpm).

Connectivity is another strength of the ASUS Mini PC PB62. It can work with high-speed Wi-Fi 6 networks, Ethernet networks at 1 Gbps, or Bluetooth 5.2 devices. On the front panel, this mini PC has four high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, a headphone jack, and a microphone jack. On the back panel, you find one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, two USB 2.0, the Ethernet jack, two DisplayPorts v1.2, an HDMI 2.0 port (which can be changed with another port, including VGA), a Kensington lock for securing your PC, and the power jack.

Durability is another important design aspect. ASUS Mini PC PB6 respects the MIL-810H military standard which ensures that it can function well in industrial environments, which other PCs wouldn’t be able to resist.

ASUS ZenScreen Go MB16AWP - Portable productivity

ASUS ZenScreen Go MB16AWP is a portable monitor that we tested in detail and we enjoyed quite a lot. It is ideal for people who travel frequently and need to be productive from anywhere. The monitor can be connected to just about anything: laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc. You can connect to it also wirelessly, through the Miracast standard.

ASUS ZenScreen Go MB16AWP is light (measuring just 11.5mm in thickness and weighing 1.09kg), with a diagonal of 5.6 inches. It has a 1080p resolution, and its panel is an IPS, with excellent contrast and brightness.

Its typical power consumption is 7.6 Watts and it’s equipped with an embedded battery that should last you for up to four hours. You can also charge it with a USB Type-C charger that’s bundled with the monitor. What else do you need to be productive from anywhere, including on vacation? 🙂

ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 - Future-ready mesh Wi-Fi

ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 is an elegant and innovative mesh Wi-Fi system. It’s a great choice for families with large homes, as well as small and medium-sized businesses that need great Wi-Fi in a building with several floors, like medical laboratories or guest houses. Alongside its pleasant design, ZenWiFi Pro ET12 stands out through its powerful hardware, which can manage networks with many connected devices, and its support for the Wi-Fi 6E standard. Through this standard, you get access to a third 6 GHz wireless band, with 7 channels and a bandwidth of 160 MHz. To your Wi-Fi 6E compatible devices, this mesh Wi-Fi offers wireless connectivity at speeds you haven’t experienced before and a coverage area that’s larger than ever, especially when compared to older Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 4 networks.

Each ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 unit has a WAN port that can function at either 2.5 Gbps or 1 Gbps. Therefore, you can enjoy using ultra-fast 2.5 Gbps internet connections that are slowly popping up all over the world. On each unit, you also find one LAN port that can function at either 2.5 Gbps or 1 Gbps, and two other 1 Gbps LAN ports, with support for Link Aggregation. If you want a future-ready wireless network for your business, with a large coverage area, ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 is an excellent choice.

ASUS 4G-AX56 - internet access without interruptions, even in more remote areas

You may have an open restaurant or a small guest house, and you want to offer fast Wi-Fi 6 connectivity to all your customers and employees. Maybe your business is in a rural or remote area where you don’t have cable internet connections, only mobile internet access. In this situation, ASUS 4G-AX56 can be the perfect choice for you, because it has a nano-SIM 4G slot and is compatible with all the major telecom providers in the world. Your 4G SIM card can be used for the main internet connection of this router or as a backup, for those times when your internet provider’s network is down, and you need internet access without interruptions.

Another important feature of this router is its Wi-Fi Guest Portal, which can be personalized so that you promote your business each time a new person connects to your wireless network.

Which product(s) do you find most interesting?

My list includes products that are both useful and innovative. I can’t wait to test and review some of them, like the ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 or the ASUS Mini PC PB62. We already had fun testing and reviewing some of the other ASUS products. Before closing this article, don’t hesitate to leave a comment and share which product(s) interest you and why.
