ASUS and GALAX have reportedly introduced another round of GeForce RTX 50 price increases in China, with some models rising by as much as 500 RMB, or roughly $74.
The September adjustments affect selected RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5080 graphics cards. The changes apply to distributor and channel pricing rather than directly setting retail prices, so the amount you eventually see in stores may vary depending on existing stock, retailer margins and how quickly newly priced inventory reaches the market.
The latest increases are smaller than some of the changes reported earlier this year, but they still add further pressure to already expensive GeForce RTX 50 series hardware.
ASUS limits September increase to RTX 5070 models
ASUS reportedly introduced its new factory pricing policy on September 1.
For September, the company is said to be focusing specifically on the GeForce RTX 5070 series. Depending on the individual model, prices have increased by between 150 RMB and 300 RMB, equivalent to around $22 to $44.
Other ASUS graphics card families are reportedly unchanged for now.
GALAX is making adjustments across a wider range of products. Its RTX 5070 distributor price has reportedly increased by 200 RMB, while the RTX 5070 Ti has risen by 300 RMB.
The largest increase affects the RTX 5080, which has reportedly gone up by 500 RMB, or around $74.
| Brand | GPU series | September increase |
|---|---|---|
| ASUS | GeForce RTX 5070 | 150 to 300 RMB, about $22 to $44 |
| GALAX | GeForce RTX 5070 | 200 RMB, about $30 |
| GALAX | GeForce RTX 5070 Ti | 300 RMB, about $44 |
| GALAX | GeForce RTX 5080 | 500 RMB, about $74 |
Retail prices may take time to reflect the changes
The reported increases do not necessarily mean every card at retail will immediately become more expensive.

Stores may still have inventory purchased under older pricing, while distributors and retailers can apply different margins. As newer stock moves through the supply chain, however, the revised pricing could become more visible.
ASUS has already made larger pricing changes in China during 2026. An earlier adjustment reportedly raised some RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti models by around 1,500 to 1,700 RMB, while certain RTX 5070 cards increased by roughly 1,000 RMB.
That makes the September adjustment comparatively smaller, but it also shows that pricing pressure has not fully eased.
For buyers considering an RTX 50 series card in China, the latest changes make individual model pricing and remaining older inventory increasingly important. The RTX 5080 is seeing the largest reported September increase from GALAX, while ASUS has so far kept its latest adjustment focused on RTX 5070 products.
