Xbox Game Pass July lineup adds Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2, The Planet Crafter, and more

Xbox Game Pass is getting a new July lineup with several games arriving across cloud, console, handheld, and PC. The announcement comes during a difficult period for Xbox, as Microsoft continues major restructuring across its gaming division, but the subscription service is still moving ahead with its regular content updates.

The latest batch includes a mix of returning classics, smaller releases, sports games, survival titles, and day one additions. The biggest name for many subscribers will be Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, which joins the service on July 21 for cloud, console, and PC. The remastered skateboarding collection remains one of the strongest revivals of an older sports series, combining the first two Tony Hawk games with modern visuals, smoother controls, and familiar levels.

The Planet Crafter also arrives on July 21 for cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The survival crafting game puts you on a hostile planet and asks you to transform it into a livable world. It has become popular with players who enjoy exploration, base building, resource collection, and long term progression.

July’s first Game Pass wave mixes older favorites with smaller new releases

The lineup begins on July 9 with Gears of War: Reloaded and Tamashika. Gears of War: Reloaded will be available on cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld, and PC, giving subscribers another chance to revisit one of Xbox’s most important franchises. Tamashika arrives on the same platforms on the same day.

Palworld is also getting its 1.0 release on July 10, and Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive access alongside everyone else. While it is not listed as a brand new Game Pass addition, it remains a notable update for one of the service’s most discussed releases.

Other additions include Ascend to Zero on July 13, PBA Pro Bowling 2026 on July 14, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check on July 15, and Mavrix by Matt Jones on July 16. FixForce and Fogpiercer arrive on July 17, with Fogpiercer listed for PC only.

As usual, new arrivals also mean several games are leaving the service. On July 15, Xbox Game Pass will lose Dungeons of Hinterberg, EA Sports Football Club 24, Stellaris, Golf With Your Friends, Minami Lane, Powerwash Simulator, Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, Splitgate: Arena Reloaded, Super Fantasy Kingdom, and Techtonica.

That leaving list is notable because it includes several well known and widely played titles. Powerwash Simulator has been one of the service’s more popular relaxing games, while Stellaris remains a strong strategy option. Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition is also a major departure for players who were planning to finish Lara Croft’s reboot trilogy through Game Pass.

July is not finished yet. Halo: Campaign Evolved is expected to arrive later in the month as part of the second wave of additions. That should give Xbox another major first party release to highlight after the current batch.

For now, the July lineup offers a solid spread. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is the clear nostalgia pick, The Planet Crafter gives survival fans something substantial, and Palworld’s 1.0 release should bring existing players back. The month arrives under a cloud of layoffs and studio changes, but Game Pass itself is still getting a steady flow of games.
