Qualcomm has released new Adreno GPU driver updates for Snapdragon X and Snapdragon X2 Windows 11 PCs, targeting stability and visual quality problems in a growing list of PC games.
The updates show continued progress for gaming on Windows 11 on Arm, where software compatibility and emulation have improved significantly over the past few years. Gaming remains one of the biggest areas where Snapdragon based laptops still trail more established x86 systems.
The latest drivers focus on different groups of games depending on whether a PC uses a Snapdragon X or newer Snapdragon X2 platform.

Snapdragon X Gets Fixes for Several Major Games
The Snapdragon X driver update includes targeted improvements for ten games.
The list includes Avowed, Borderlands 4, Dishonored 2, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, DREDGE, Nobody Wants to Die, RoboCop: Rogue City Unfinished Business, Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, Split Fiction, and Squad.
Qualcomm describes the changes as game stability and quality improvements, so the exact effect can vary by title.
For some games, the update may reduce crashes or other stability problems. In others, it may address rendering issues or improve general compatibility.
The update does not mean every game on the list will suddenly run perfectly, but it shows Qualcomm is continuing to work through individual game problems instead of relying only on broader compatibility improvements.
Snapdragon X2 Receives a Larger Game List
The newer Snapdragon X2 platform receives fixes for a wider selection of games.
The affected titles include 007 First Light, Black Myth: Wukong, Borderlands 3, Dishonored 2, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, F1 2022, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Hades, Halo Infinite, Hollow Knight, It Takes Two, Lies of P, Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, Split Fiction, Star Wars Outlaws, and Yakuza Kiwami 3.
Snapdragon X2 chips provide more graphics performance than the original Snapdragon X generation, making them better suited to modern PC games.
That extra performance does not solve compatibility problems by itself, however. Driver quality, game support, emulation, and anti cheat compatibility remain important parts of the experience.
Windows 11 on Arm Gaming Is Still a Work in Progress
Windows 11 on Arm has improved considerably outside gaming.
A large number of applications now run natively, while Microsoft's emulation layer helps older x86 and x64 software work on Arm hardware.
Gaming has been more complicated.
Some titles run well, while others continue to have bugs, weak optimization, or no support at all.
Halo: Campaign Evolved is one example of the remaining problems, with severe texture issues reported on Snapdragon X2 hardware that can make the game difficult to play.
That shows why game specific driver updates remain important.
Anti Cheat and Peripheral Support Are Improving
Compatibility around gaming software has also expanded.
Easy Anti Cheat is now supported on Snapdragon powered Windows PCs, removing one major obstacle for online games that depend on the system.
Logitech G HUB has also gained Windows on Arm support, allowing compatible gaming peripherals to be configured more easily on Snapdragon PCs.
Qualcomm has also updated its Snapdragon Control Panel with redesigned game library navigation and other software improvements.
These changes matter because gaming compatibility depends on more than raw CPU and GPU performance.
Drivers, anti cheat systems, launchers, peripheral software, and game engines all need to work properly together.
Qualcomm Is Clearly Taking PC Gaming More Seriously
Qualcomm did not make gaming a major part of its original messaging around Snapdragon X2, but the continuing driver updates suggest that gaming is becoming a more important part of its Windows PC strategy.
Laptop makers are also beginning to highlight gaming capability more directly on Snapdragon systems.
That does not make Snapdragon laptops direct replacements for dedicated gaming machines yet.
Many titles still depend on emulation, and compatibility can differ significantly from one game to another.
Still, the direction is clear. With more native software, better emulation, broader anti cheat support, and increasingly frequent Adreno driver fixes, Windows 11 on Arm is gradually becoming a more practical platform for PC gaming.
