The Razer BlackWidow V4 X with Yellow switches is $99.99 at Amazon at the time of writing, down from a $129.99 list price. That anchor is a real one. Razer still charges $129.99 for the identical part number on its own store, so the Amazon price is a genuine $30 cut rather than a markdown against a number nobody asks for.
The discount is also narrower than the listing first suggests. The same Amazon page sells five colourways, and only the plain Black version with Yellow switches carries the $99.99 price. The Fortnite Edition of the same keyboard sits at $129.68 on Amazon at the time of writing.
Amazon lists the keyboard as In Stock, shipped and sold by Amazon.com. The product details name the manufacturer part number as RZ03-04701900-R3U1, which matches the Yellow Switch, US layout, Black SKU on Razer's own store.
What the $99.99 Razer BlackWidow V4 X deal covers
This is the full-size wired BlackWidow, not a compact or wireless variant. Amazon's details table lists 104 keys and a wired connection, with six dedicated macro keys running down the left edge.
Razer describes the top-right controls as a multi-function roller plus secondary media keys. The roller handles volume, playback and brightness according to the Amazon listing, though Razer stops short of calling them dedicated media keys in its own copy.
Chroma RGB is per-key, with the listing claiming access to over 16.8 million colours. Razer also cites sound dampening foam under the circuit board and lubricated stabilizers, the same acoustic work seen on pricier boards such as the Huntsman V3 Pro Low Profile TKL.

The switch figures come from Razer's own mechanical switch page. Amazon's bullet points repeat them without variation, which is not always the case with keyboard listings.
Razer Yellow switches versus the Green version
Razer rates the Yellow switch at 45 g of force, with a 1.2 mm actuation point and a reset point at the same 1.2 mm. In practice the key is ready to fire again the instant it clears actuation.
The Green clicky switch in the other BlackWidow V4 X model is heavier and longer. Razer puts it at 50 g, with a 1.9 mm actuation point, a 1.5 mm reset and 4.0 mm of total travel.
Both are rated for 100 million keystrokes. Razer calls the Yellow switch silent, although a linear mechanical switch bottoming out on a full-size chassis never quite is. Anyone after swappable feel should look at boards like the Wooting 80HE Plus or the hot-swappable Razer Reclusa X Mini instead.

The ASUS ROG Strix Scope II X is the closest match on format and lands $5 higher. It adds hot-swappable switches and PBT keycaps, neither of which the Razer offers.
The Razer answers with the macro column and the roller, which the ASUS does not have. For macro banks without a second keyboard, Razer sells the Tartarus V2 Pro keypad separately.
What the listing does not say
Razer publishes no polling rate, cable length, cable detachability or dimensions for the BlackWidow V4 X on its product page, and Amazon does not fill the gaps. Onboard profile storage and the N-key rollover rating are absent too.
A wrist rest is not listed anywhere by Razer for this model, which matters on a full-size board with a tall chassis. Razer reserves the magnetic leatherette rest for the step-up BlackWidow V4.
No end date is attached to the Amazon discount. Prices at both Amazon and Razer can change without notice, and the $99.99 figure applies only to the Black colourway with Yellow switches.
