The Razer BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless HyperSpeed is down to $99.99 at Amazon, and the discount is measured against a price Razer itself still charges. Razer's own store lists the same black Orange-switch unit at $149.99 with no sale applied, which makes this a flat $50.00 saving rather than a markdown from a list price nobody charges.

That works out to 33% off, matching the badge on the listing. Amazon.com holds the buy box directly, and no Prime membership is required to get the price.
What is on offer is an 87-key wireless tenkeyless with a hot-swappable circuit board and pre-loaded Razer Orange Tactile Gen-3 switches. Sockets that accept 3-pin and 5-pin switches are uncommon on a wireless board at this price, and they mean the feel of the keys can be changed later without soldering.
What the $99.99 BlackWidow V4 TKL deal covers
The listing shows the keyboard in stock at $99.99 against a $149.99 list price. Razer's product page prices the matching SKU at $149.99 and reports it in stock, so the retailer is undercutting the manufacturer by $50.00 at the time of writing.
Razer says the board connects three ways: 2.4 GHz HyperSpeed wireless, Bluetooth, or a USB Type-C cable. The Amazon bullets mention only the two wireless modes, so the wired option goes unadvertised on the listing itself.
Bluetooth holds up to three paired devices, switched by hotkey. The 2.4 GHz dongle can also carry a compatible Razer mouse on the same receiver.

The switch figures come from Razer's switch page, not from the Amazon listing. Razer rates the Gen-3 Orange for 100 million keystrokes and ships it factory lubricated.
Remapping, Chroma lighting and Snap Tap are configured in Synapse 4, and installing or upgrading Razer Synapse is the first step on a new board. Snap Tap can also be toggled with FN and Left Shift without opening the app.
Which BlackWidow V4 this actually is
Razer lists nine boards under the BlackWidow V4 name, and the names run together quickly. This one is the Tenkeyless HyperSpeed, which Razer classifies as standard height rather than low profile.
Amazon's detail table backs that up with a 1.71-inch height and 87 keys. It is not the Low Profile Tenkeyless HyperSpeed, and it is not the V4 Pro, whose command dial does not appear here.
It is also a different product from the BlackWidow V4 X that recently sold for the same $99.99. That board is wired, full-size and not hot-swappable. The compact BlackWidow V4 75% has had its own discount, and the flagship is covered in the BlackWidow V4 Pro review.
How it compares with other wireless keyboards at Amazon
| Keyboard | Price | Layout | Hot-swap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Razer BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless HyperSpeed | $99.99 | Tenkeyless, wireless | Yes |
| Corsair K70 CORE TKL Wireless RGB | $119.99 | Tenkeyless, wireless | No |
| ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless | $129.00 | 96%, wireless | Yes |
| Corsair K70 CORE TKL RGB | $89.99 | Tenkeyless, wired | No |
The Corsair K70 CORE TKL Wireless RGB at $119.99 is the nearest shape match, costing $20.00 more without hot-swap sockets. Amazon.com holds that buy box too.
The ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless at $129.00 is the closer rival on features, with hot-swappable pre-lubed ROG NX Snow linear switches and PBT keycaps. It is a 96% layout, so it keeps a numpad and takes more desk space.
Saving money means giving up the radio. The wired Corsair K70 CORE TKL RGB at $89.99 is $10.00 cheaper and has no wireless mode at all.
What the Amazon listing leaves out
Several numbers that matter are missing from the product page. The listing does not state the polling rate, the actuation force, the travel distance or the keycap material, and it never mentions that the 4,000 Hz HyperPolling dongle is a separate purchase.
The 980-hour battery figure is a Power Saving Mode maximum, which Razer says dims the lighting and reduces the polling rate. Neither page publishes the battery capacity, the charge time or a runtime with the Chroma lighting switched on.
Two absences are worth flagging before buying. There is no wrist rest in the box, which Razer confirms in its own FAQ, and there is no USB passthrough port. Weight is not published anywhere, and the box contents are not itemised.
Prices are as of October 5, 2026, and come from the retailer listings. No end date is attached to the discount, and Amazon pricing can move without notice.
