Nvidia GeForce NOW Summer Sale Cuts Ultimate and Performance Membership Prices

Nvidia has started a new summer sale for GeForce NOW, temporarily lowering the price of its 12 month Performance and Ultimate cloud gaming memberships. The offer gives new and returning members a cheaper way to access Nvidia’s game streaming service while the company also adds another batch of supported games this week.

The sale applies only to annual memberships. The 12 month Performance plan is now priced at $64.99, down from $99.99. That gives members a $35 discount. The 12 month Ultimate plan has dropped to $129.99, down from its usual $199.99 price, saving $70.

GeForce NOW is different from services like Xbox Game Pass because it does not give you a library of games as part of the subscription. Instead, you use Nvidia’s cloud servers to stream games you already own on supported PC stores, or games you can access through services like PC Game Pass. That means the sale is mainly useful for players who already have a PC library and want to play those games across more devices.

GeForce NOW Ultimate gets the bigger discount

The biggest price cut is on the Ultimate membership. This is Nvidia’s highest tier and is aimed at players who want stronger cloud hardware, better visuals, and higher performance.

The Ultimate plan offers RTX 4080 or RTX 5080 class performance in the cloud, depending on availability and region. It supports up to 4K streaming, ultrawide displays, up to 120 FPS, ray tracing, DLSS, and Nvidia Reflex. These features are designed for players who want a more premium cloud gaming setup without owning a high end gaming PC.

MembershipUsual 12 month priceSale priceSavings
Performance$99.99$64.99$35
Ultimate$199.99$129.99$70

The Performance plan is the more affordable option. It supports streaming up to 1080p at 60 FPS and gives access to RTX powered servers for supported games. It is better suited for players who want smooth cloud gaming but do not need 4K or the highest frame rates.

New games join GeForce NOW this week

Alongside the sale, Nvidia is adding more games to the GeForce NOW supported list. The new lineup includes fresh Steam releases, Epic Games Store support for Doom Eternal, and more titles from Xbox, Wargaming, and other launchers.

The games joining this week are:

NBA THE RUN

Witchspire

SpaceCraft

Duet Night Abyss

DOOM Eternal

The Elder Scrolls Online

Farever

World of Tanks: HEAT

The Elder Scrolls Online is available through Xbox and Game Pass support, while Doom Eternal is joining through the Epic Games Store. World of Tanks: HEAT is being supported through Wargaming’s launcher.

Nvidia is also planning to add more games during the rest of June, so this week’s list is only part of the month’s wider GeForce NOW update.

You still need to own the games before streaming them

The important detail for new members is that GeForce NOW is not a traditional all in one game subscription. A paid membership gives you access to better cloud streaming sessions, but you still need a license for the games you want to play.

That can be a benefit if you already own games across Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, or other supported launchers. Instead of downloading games locally, you can stream them on supported devices. It can also help players with weaker laptops, handhelds, or older PCs play demanding games through Nvidia’s servers.

However, players should also check monthly usage limits before subscribing. GeForce NOW has limits on how many hours members can use the service per month, so heavy players should make sure the plan fits their needs.

The sale makes GeForce NOW easier to try for a full year

Cloud gaming still depends heavily on internet quality, latency, and regional server access. For players with a stable connection, GeForce NOW can be a useful way to play PC games without upgrading hardware. For others, local gaming may still feel better.

That is why the summer sale matters. The lower annual price makes the service easier to test over a longer period, especially for players interested in the Ultimate tier but hesitant at the usual $199.99 yearly cost.

The Performance plan now looks like the safer value option for players who mainly want 1080p streaming. The Ultimate plan is the better pick for players who care about 4K, higher frame rates, ray tracing, DLSS, Reflex, and stronger cloud hardware.

With new supported games arriving and more planned for June, Nvidia is using the sale to make GeForce NOW more attractive during the summer gaming season.
