Nintendo Switch 2 Zelda Edition Restocks Expected on November 6 as Demand Remains High

Nintendo's special edition Legend of Zelda Switch 2 continues to face limited availability across the United States and United Kingdom, with additional restocks expected following the November 5 launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake.

Several retailers have already received small shipments, but inventory has been selling out quickly. Nintendo has confirmed that additional stock is coming, although availability continues to vary by retailer and location.

Target is preparing another restock on November 6, while Best Buy and GameStop have been focusing on physical store availability.

The special edition console launched ahead of Ocarina of Time Remake, attracting substantial demand from collectors and Zelda fans.

Target Plans November 6 Restock as Nintendo Confirms More Inventory

Target initially indicated that additional consoles would become available in stores on November 5, followed by online availability on November 6.

However, its latest product listing now identifies November 6 as the expected restock date for both online and physical stores.

Best Buy also scheduled midnight launch events at many US locations, offering the special edition console alongside Ocarina of Time Remake.

Meanwhile, GameStop is distributing its remaining stock through physical stores rather than online orders.

Walmart has experienced complications after cancelling some preorders shortly before launch. Although November 6 has been mentioned as a possible restock date, the retailer has not officially confirmed additional availability.

Nintendo has also updated its online store with a message indicating that more inventory is on the way.

Customers can receive restock notifications by adding the console to their wishlist through the Nintendo Store app.

UK Retailers Continue Receiving Limited Zelda Switch 2 Stock

Availability remains restricted in the UK, although several retailers have received occasional shipments.

Amazon UK and EE have offered restocks since launch, while John Lewis briefly showed availability at its High Wycombe location on November 5.

Other retailers, including Argos, Smyths Toys and Currys, have not confirmed widespread new inventory.

The shortage also affects the matching Zelda themed Pro Controller and carrying case.

Resale prices have increased, with some listings reaching approximately $750 for the console and $150 for the controller.

However, Nintendo describes the console as a special edition rather than a permanently limited release, suggesting additional purchasing opportunities are expected.

Importantly, the Zelda themed Switch 2 does not include Ocarina of Time Remake, which must be purchased separately.

For customers still looking for the console, November 6 is the next confirmed retail restock date to watch, particularly through Target in the United States.
