GameSir has introduced the Nova Vision, a new wireless gaming controller designed for Nintendo Switch 2 and PC, featuring an integrated display, adjustable thumbstick tension and customizable controls.
The controller is available for preorder at $54.99 and comes in black and white color options.
Nova Vision is the first GameSir controller to feature a built-in screen and the company's first model with adjustable thumbstick tension.
Despite these additions, its price remains below that of the more expensive GameSir G7 Pro, making it an interesting option for players looking for advanced controller features without spending considerably more.
The new model also includes Hall effect thumbsticks, trigger stops, programmable rear controls and a charging stand.
GameSir Nova Vision Adds a Screen for Controller Settings
One of the main additions is the integrated display, which provides access to controller settings without requiring players to navigate through separate software menus.
The interface runs on a system called VisionOS, allowing players to adjust button assignments, thumbstick settings, connection options and saved profiles.
GameSir has also introduced a different approach to adjustable thumbstick tension.
On some competing controllers, players adjust tension by rotating components around the thumbsticks.
With Nova Vision, the thumbsticks themselves can be rotated to change their physical resistance.
This allows players to customize the feel of the sticks according to their preferences.
For example, increased resistance may provide greater control during precise aiming, while lighter resistance may feel more comfortable for faster movements.
Unlike several recent GameSir controllers that use TMR thumbsticks, Nova Vision features Hall effect sensors.
These sensors use magnetic technology to detect movement, helping reduce wear associated with conventional contact based potentiometers.
Nova Vision Supports Nintendo Switch 2 Wake Functionality
The controller includes several additional features intended to improve convenience and customization.

Nova Vision also supports wireless operation and includes a lift to wake feature for Nintendo Switch 2.
According to GameSir, lifting the controller from its charging stand can wake the console automatically.
However, the feature's reliability on Nova Vision has not yet been independently established.
The controller also replaces GameSir's usual individual rear buttons with two elongated levers, offering additional control options.
GameSir has not provided a confirmed shipping date in the announcement, although preorders are already available.
At $54.99, Nova Vision offers a combination of features commonly associated with more expensive gaming controllers, particularly its integrated display and adjustable thumbstick resistance.
