Nintendo is launching a new Nintendo Switch 2 bundle on October 22, 2026, pairing the console with Nintendo Switch Sports Resort and a three month Nintendo Switch Online membership.
The bundle will arrive on the same day as Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, which is being released exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. The package is priced at $529.99 and includes a digital copy of the game.
Nintendo says the bundle represents savings of $27.98 compared with buying the included products separately.

Nintendo Switch Sports Resort returns to Wuhu Island, the fictional location previously featured in Wii Sports Resort.
The new game is built around motion controls using the Joy Con 2 controllers. Depending on the activity, you can use the controllers to imitate equipment such as rackets, bows and paddles.
Nintendo Switch Sports Resort includes 12 activities
The game will launch with 12 sports covering a mix of returning ideas and new activities.
The full lineup includes Boxing, Table Tennis, Archery, Tennis, Volleyball, Bowling, Basketball, Golf, Thumb Wrestling, Skateboarding, Power Cruising and Prop Plane.
Several of those activities continue the motion focused design associated with Nintendo’s Sports series, while others broaden the selection beyond more traditional competitive sports.
The use of Wuhu Island also connects the new game directly with Wii Sports Resort, which launched in 2009 and used the same setting for its collection of motion controlled activities.
Nintendo is positioning the new release as a dedicated Switch 2 title rather than a cross generation game.
Physical and digital versions launch the same day
Nintendo Switch Sports Resort will be sold separately in both physical and digital formats when it launches on October 22.
The copy included with the console bundle is digital.
According to the official listing referenced in the announcement, the download size is around 16GB, making it relatively modest compared with many large modern games.
The three month Nintendo Switch Online membership included in the bundle should also give new Switch 2 owners immediate access to online features without needing to purchase a separate subscription at launch.

For anyone already planning to buy both a Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, the bundle offers a simpler way to get the console, game and online membership together.
Its $529.99 price places it above the standard console package, but the included software and subscription provide additional value for players specifically interested in the new Sports Resort release.
With both the game and bundle launching on October 22, Nintendo is clearly using Nintendo Switch Sports Resort as one of its major family and motion focused releases for Switch 2 during the 2026 holiday period.
