Motorola has introduced the Signature 27, a premium Android smartphone featuring Qualcomm's latest flagship processor, a 200MP telephoto camera and a large 7,000mAh battery.
Priced at $1,599.99, the device is positioned against high end smartphones from Samsung, Apple and Google.
The Signature 27 was first revealed in September 2026, with Motorola now confirming its specifications, pricing and availability.
Preorders will begin on November 19, followed by retail availability on November 26.
Motorola Signature 27 Features a 12,000-Nit Tandem OLED Display
The Signature 27 features a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED Duo display using Tandem OLED technology.
It offers a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and Dolby Vision support.
Motorola claims the panel can reach 12,000 nits of peak brightness, although this figure does not represent sustained brightness during everyday use.
The company also claims 34% better energy efficiency and up to 121% longer lifespan compared with conventional AMOLED displays.
Pantone Validated color calibration and SGS certified blue light reduction are included.
Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.
Motorola has introduced its ArcticMesh cooling system, combining a larger vapor chamber with diamond infused thermal gel.
200MP Telephoto Camera and 7,000mAh Battery Lead the Specifications
Photography is another major focus of the Signature 27.
The smartphone includes a 50MP primary camera using Sony's LYTIA L910 sensor, alongside a 200MP periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom.
Motorola also provides up to 100x AI assisted digital zoom, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP front camera.
A dedicated Event Vision Sensor detects changes in light to provide motion information for the phone's Action Shot feature.
The camera system has received a DXOMARK score of 173, according to Motorola.
Other specifications include IP68 and IP69 protection, Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 and audio tuning by Bang & Olufsen.
The 7,000mAh battery supports 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, with Motorola claiming up to 77 hours of battery life.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 8 and a redesigned six antenna system.
While its specifications are competitive, independent testing will determine whether the Signature 27 can justify its premium pricing.
