LG 55-Inch C6 OLED Drops to $999.99 at Amazon as the 77-Inch C6 Falls to $1,999.99

The LG 55-inch OLED evo AI C6 is $999.99 at Amazon, down from a $1,399.99 list price. That figure also makes it the cheapest set in LG's own six-size C6 price list.

LG charges $1,099.99 for the 48-inch C6 and $1,049.99 for the 42-inch. The 55-inch now undercuts both of the smaller screens.

The 77-inch C6 moved with it, to $1,999.99 from $2,499.99. Both sets are $300 below what the same two listings charged on October 5.

Amazon.com is the seller and shipper on every set named here, and all of them are in stock at the time of writing.

LG matches every one of these prices

LG's product pages carry the whole series price list inside their structured data, so one page gives every size at once.

LG sells the 55-inch C6 at $999.99, the 77-inch at $1,999.99 and the 83-inch B6 at $2,999.99. Each one matches Amazon to the cent.

LG strikes those three through from $1,999.99, $3,699.99 and $4,299.99. Amazon's anchors are lower in all three cases, so the listings understate the saving rather than inflate it.

LG adds free professional wall mounting and a matching bracket on all three, valid through 11/1/26. A free Xbox controller offer runs on the two C6 pages through 11/15/26, and does not appear on the B6 page at all.

Amazon's listings show no bundled accessory, no installation and no end date.

What each size costs per inch

LG 83-inch B6 (OLED83B6GUA)$2,999.99$3,499.99$36.14Alpha 8 processor, no Brightness Booster row

Each step up the C6 ladder adds three to four dollars per inch. The step from the 77-inch C6 to the 83-inch B6 adds $10.17.

That makes the 83-inch the outlier, and it is an outlier in the wrong direction. It costs 39 percent more per inch than the 77-inch C6 while sitting in the lower of the two series.

The 55-inch is the cheapest per inch of the four, and the only one under $1,000.

The 83-inch B6 has not actually moved

The 83-inch B6 shows $2,999.99 against a $3,499.99 list price, a gap of $500. That gap is not new.

The same listing carried $2,999.99 on October 5 and again on October 19, against the same anchor.

It was briefly cheaper in between. On October 18 it charged $2,799.99, which puts today's figure $200 above its recent low.

The 65-inch C6 is also flat at $1,399.99, the price it has held since the last time this listing was checked. Only the 55-inch and the 77-inch changed.

Both anchors moved too. The struck-through price on each C6 is $100 lower than it was on October 5.

LG's spec table for the B6 carries no Brightness Booster row. The phrase appears nowhere on the 83-inch B6 page, and LG does not call the B6 an OLED evo.

LG's one-line description of the B6 names Perfect Black and Vivid Color. On the C6 the same field reads Perfect Color.

The C6 line splits internally as well. LG gives Brightness Booster Pro and tandem four stack panel technology to the 77 and 83-inch C6, and plain Brightness Booster to the 55 and 65-inch.

The 55-inch therefore gets the lesser panel treatment inside its own series, while the 83-inch C6 sits at the top of it.

The connections are identical across all four sets. LG lists four HDMI inputs supporting 4K 120Hz, VRR, ALLM, QMS and QFT, with eARC on HDMI 2 only.

Wi-Fi 5, USB 2.0, an ATSC 1.0 tuner and a one-year parts and labor warranty are also common to every size. The mounting pattern is the practical difference, since the B6 wants a 400 x 400 bracket.

What LG leaves unpublished

LG prints no peak brightness figure in nits for any of these four sets.

The only brightness claim attached to the 77-inch is a relative one, that Brightness Booster Pro shines up to 3x brighter. The B6 carries no brightness claim at all.

LG also never prints an HDMI version number. Its HDMI row stops at 4K 120Hz, and the 165Hz figure sits on the refresh-rate row with a footnote saying a 165Hz graphics card is required.

Amazon's copy disagrees with LG in two places. One 55-inch bullet credits an a9 AI Processor Gen8, and the bullets name AMD FreeSync Premium, which is not a row in LG's gaming spec group.

Color gamut coverage, measured contrast, input lag and speaker wattage are absent from all of these pages, as is HDR10+ support. None of the listings states an end date, and prices at Amazon and at LG have both already moved this month, as they did when the 42-inch C6 was discounted at Best Buy.
