IQUNIX brings Ghost in the Shell style and Hall Effect gaming features to its new keyboards

IQUNIX has expanded its premium keyboard lineup with two new products shown at Computex 2026: the EV63 Ghost in the Shell Edition and the EC75 Hall Effect keyboard. Both are aimed at gamers and keyboard enthusiasts who want faster inputs, strong build quality, and a more distinctive design than a standard gaming keyboard.

The EV63 Ghost in the Shell Edition is the headline product because it combines IQUNIX’s compact Hall Effect keyboard platform with a licensed cyberpunk inspired design. It comes in two versions, Cyber Blue and Shell Core, giving buyers a choice between two themed looks. The keyboard is priced at $249, making it a premium option compared with the regular EV63, which costs $189.

The special edition uses KEYTOK NOVA switches pre installed from the factory. IQUNIX says these are flagship magnetic switches with a split structure design that separates the magnetic sleeve from the stem. The goal is to keep alignment more consistent, improve key feel, and reduce unwanted resonance. The company also says the switches produce a deeper and more solid bottom out sound, which should appeal to people who care about keyboard acoustics as much as gaming performance.

Hall Effect switches are becoming the new gaming keyboard standard

The EC75 is the other important product in IQUNIX’s Computex lineup. It uses a 75 percent layout, which keeps the keyboard compact while still offering more keys than smaller 60 percent or 65 percent designs. That makes it a practical middle ground for gamers who want desk space but do not want to give up too many controls.

The EC75 uses magnetic Hall Effect switches with adjustable actuation points. That means players can decide how far a key needs to travel before it registers. A shorter actuation can help in fast paced games, while a deeper actuation may feel better for typing or general use.

Rapid Trigger support is also included on the EC75. This feature lets keys reset as soon as they move upward rather than waiting for a fixed reset point. In competitive games, that can make repeated movements feel faster and more responsive, especially for actions like strafing, counter strafing, and rapid directional changes.

IQUNIX is also emphasizing low latency input and a CNC machined aluminum body for the EC75. That suggests the company wants this keyboard to compete not only on software features, but also on build quality. Aluminum bodies usually give keyboards a sturdier feel and more premium sound, although they also raise the price.

The EV63 Ghost in the Shell Edition leans more heavily into design. The themed keycaps use advanced printing, high PBT content, and wear resistant legends. For a special edition keyboard, that matters because buyers are paying partly for the look. A themed board loses much of its appeal if the artwork fades quickly.

The keyboard market has changed quickly over the last few years. Mechanical switches are no longer enough to stand out. Many gaming focused boards now use magnetic switches because they allow adjustable actuation, Rapid Trigger, and more advanced input tuning. IQUNIX is clearly moving deeper into that space.

The company’s challenge is price. IQUNIX keyboards are usually well built, but they are not cheap. At $249, the EV63 Ghost in the Shell Edition is aimed at enthusiasts, fans of the theme, and buyers who want something that feels collectible. The EC75 may have broader appeal if IQUNIX prices it carefully, but final availability and full specifications have not yet been announced.

Still, both keyboards show a clear direction. IQUNIX wants to combine enthusiast grade construction with gaming features that actually matter. The EC75 focuses on performance through Hall Effect switches and Rapid Trigger, while the EV63 Ghost in the Shell Edition adds a stronger visual identity for collectors.

For gamers who want a compact, fast, and premium keyboard, IQUNIX’s Computex lineup is worth watching. The EV63 Ghost in the Shell Edition is already official, while the EC75 could become one of the company’s more practical gaming boards once pricing and release details are confirmed.
