IKEA and Xbox have officially revealed their first joint gaming furniture collection, introducing nine products designed for living rooms, bedrooms and other shared spaces where gaming is part of everyday life.
The collection is called YXSTABY and includes a lounge chair, thumbstick inspired stool, TV stand, side table, controller display box, laptop support, monitor stand, D pad cushion and D pad platter. The range is being shown at Gamescom 2026 and will launch in the UK on October 1.
Prices start at £12 and go up to £115, making the range significantly broader than a typical licensed gaming merchandise release.

Xbox branding is built into the furniture design
Some of the products use recognizable Xbox design elements rather than simply adding logos.
The thumbstick stool takes inspiration from an Xbox controller stick, while the cushion and platter use a D pad shape. Other products, such as the TV stand and side table, take a more conventional furniture approach.
That gives the collection a mix of clearly gaming themed items and products that could fit more naturally into a normal living space.
The nine piece range was developed jointly by IKEA and Xbox, with designers from both companies working on the products.
IKEA wants the range to work beyond gaming sessions
The collection is not being positioned only as dedicated gaming room furniture.
IKEA says the designs were influenced by home visits where gaming was already part of everyday household life. The goal was to create products that support gaming without making an entire room feel permanently dedicated to it.
One example is the lounge chair, which is designed to support different sitting positions while still fitting into a living room.
Other products focus on practical storage and organization. The laptop support includes storage, while the controller display box provides a dedicated place for gaming accessories.
The TV stand and side table both use castors, which should make them easier to reposition around a room.
Prices remain relatively accessible
The pricing is one of the more notable parts of the announcement.
The cheapest items, including the D pad cushion and platter, cost £12. The controller display box is £15, while the laptop support costs £19.
Larger furniture naturally costs more. The lounge chair is £89, the TV stand is £99 and the side table is the most expensive product at £115.
That pricing keeps most of the range within normal IKEA furniture territory rather than pushing it into the premium gaming furniture category.
UK launch is confirmed for October 1
The YXSTABY collection will be available online and in IKEA stores in the UK from October 1, 2026.
No release information has been confirmed yet for other regions, so availability outside the UK remains unclear.
The collaboration gives Xbox another way to extend its brand beyond consoles and accessories while giving IKEA a more direct presence in the gaming market.
Rather than focusing only on specialist gaming desks and chairs, the YXSTABY range covers furniture, storage and decorative items that are designed to work alongside existing household setups.
