Iiyama has introduced a 15.6 inch gaming laptop with a simple approach to improving airflow: a foldable stand built directly into the bottom of the chassis.
The LEVEL 15FX167 can be raised at the rear without requiring a separate laptop stand. According to the company, opening the stand creates more space beneath the cooling intake and can reduce CPU temperatures by as much as 3°C compared with placing the laptop flat on a desk. The raised position is also intended to provide a more comfortable keyboard angle.
RTX 5060 and Core Ultra 9 Hardware
The laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor. This Meteor Lake chip has 16 cores and 22 threads.
You can choose between GeForce RTX 5050 and RTX 5060 Laptop GPU configurations. The higher specification RTX 5060 model includes 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD.
| Specification | Iiyama LEVEL 15FX167 |
|---|---|
| Processor | Intel Core Ultra 9 185H |
| CPU cores and threads | 16 cores, 22 threads |
| Graphics | GeForce RTX 5050 or RTX 5060 Laptop GPU |
| Display | 15.6 inch, 1920 × 1080 |
| Refresh rate | 144Hz |
| Memory | 16GB DDR5 on listed configurations |
| Storage | Up to 1TB NVMe SSD on RTX 5060 model |
| Wireless | Wi Fi 7 |
| Ethernet | Gigabit Ethernet |
| Weight | About 2.34kg |
| Special feature | Integrated foldable cooling stand |
The display uses a 1920 × 1080 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is a conventional specification for a gaming notebook in this performance class, placing more emphasis on frame rate than higher resolution gaming.
Integrated Stand Is the Main Design Feature
Gaming laptops often depend heavily on airflow through vents underneath the chassis. Raising the rear can give those vents more access to cool air, which is why separate laptop stands are commonly used.
Iiyama has effectively built that accessory into the machine. The stand folds underneath the notebook when it is not required, removing the need to carry another accessory.
The claimed temperature improvement is modest at up to 3°C, but lower CPU temperatures can still help the cooling system operate with additional thermal headroom. Actual results will depend on workload, room temperature and the surface beneath the laptop.
Connectivity Includes Wi Fi 7 and Two M.2 Slots
The LEVEL 15FX167 includes Wi Fi 7 and Gigabit Ethernet alongside USB Type C, three USB Type A ports, HDMI and Mini DisplayPort.

Storage expansion is handled through two M.2 slots. One supports PCIe 4.0 x4, while the second operates at PCIe 4.0 x2.
The laptop measures 361 × 248 × 35.7mm and weighs approximately 2.34kg. Rated battery life is 4.4 hours of video playback under JEITA 3.0 testing, so portability is unlikely to be its strongest feature.
Pricing Starts Above ¥260,000
The RTX 5060 configuration with 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD starts at ¥284,700, equivalent to roughly $1,783 based on the conversion provided at launch.
The RTX 5050 model starts at ¥264,800 and pairs 16GB of memory with a smaller 512GB SSD.
The integrated stand is what separates this machine from more conventional gaming laptops. Rather than relying entirely on internal cooling changes, Iiyama is using the physical position of the laptop to create additional airflow beneath the chassis.
