HP has revealed more details about its upcoming RTX Spark powered PCs, including the OmniBook X 14, OmniBook Ultra 16, and a compact OmniDesk designed for persistent local AI workloads.
The two laptops use NVIDIA's RTX Spark N1X platform, which combines Arm based CPU cores with Blackwell graphics in a single package. Configurations will support up to 128GB of LPDDR5x 9400 unified memory and up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance.
HP says the machines are designed for local model execution, CUDA workloads, creative work, and agent based software that can run without relying entirely on cloud infrastructure.

OmniBook X 14 Measures Just 13.53mm Thick
The smaller OmniBook X 14 is aimed at buyers who want a portable local AI system.
HP says the laptop measures 13.53mm thick at the rear and weighs 3.77 pounds.
Despite the thin chassis, the system uses a dual fan cooling design with two heat pipes to manage the RTX Spark N1X platform.
The highest configuration combines a 20 core CPU with 6,144 Blackwell GPU cores.
HP will also offer a lower specification with an 18 core CPU and 5,120 GPU cores.
Memory options include 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB of unified LPDDR5x 9400 memory.
Storage configurations will range from 1TB to 2TB, with both PCIe Gen4 and Gen5 SSD options expected.
3K OLED Display Supports 120Hz
The OmniBook X 14 includes a 14 inch OLED touch display with a 2880 x 1800 resolution.
It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI P3 color coverage, and VESA True Black HDR 1000 certification.
That combination makes the laptop suitable for creative work as well as general productivity and AI development.
Connectivity includes two USB4 Type C ports rated at 40Gbps, two USB Type A ports rated at 10Gbps, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The USB4 ports support DisplayPort 2.1 and Power Delivery 3.1.
Wireless connectivity includes Wi Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.
80Wh Battery Is Paired With 140W USB C Charging
The OmniBook X 14 uses an 80Wh battery.

HP claims up to 15 hours of battery life, although actual results will depend heavily on workload and configuration.
The laptop ships with a 140W USB C GaN adapter.
Fast charging is rated to bring the battery to 50% in around 30 minutes.
The system will be offered with Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro.
OmniBook Ultra 16 Adds More Cooling Capacity
The OmniBook Ultra 16 uses the same RTX Spark N1X platform but offers a larger chassis and more thermal headroom.
It measures 15.73mm thick.
HP has introduced what it calls a tower hinge and trunk architecture, which creates additional ventilation space behind the display.
The design is intended to improve airflow while keeping the laptop relatively thin.
Larger heat pipes and dual thin fans are used to support sustained workloads such as local AI development, creative applications, and agent based software.
The 16 Inch Model Uses a Similar OLED Panel
The OmniBook Ultra 16 includes a 16 inch OLED touch display with the same 2880 x 1800 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
It also supports VESA True Black HDR 1000 and full DCI P3 color coverage.
Memory reaches up to 128GB of LPDDR5x 9400, while storage goes up to a 2TB PCIe Gen5 NVMe SSD.
Connectivity includes two USB4 Type C ports, two USB Type A ports, a 3.5mm audio connection, and a microSD card reader.
Wi Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 are also included.
99Wh Battery Targets Longer Runtime
HP equips the OmniBook Ultra 16 with a 99Wh battery.
The company claims up to 17 hours of battery life.
A 140W USB C GaN charger will be available, with fast charging again rated at 50% in about 30 minutes.
The larger battery and cooling system make the Ultra 16 the more performance focused option of the two laptops.
RTX Spark N1X Targets Local AI Workloads
The RTX Spark N1X platform combines CPU, GPU, and unified memory in one architecture.
With up to 128GB of high speed shared memory, the platform can accommodate significantly larger local AI workloads than systems limited to conventional discrete GPU memory.
HP is positioning these machines for developers, creators, and professionals who want to run larger models without always sending data to remote servers.
The same platform also supports CUDA workloads and other software that benefits from NVIDIA's GPU ecosystem.
OmniDesk Is Designed for Always On AI Agents
HP is also preparing a compact desktop called OmniDesk.
It uses the same RTX Spark platform but is designed around continuous operation rather than portability.
The company says the system is intended for long running local code generation, automated workflows, and background AI agents that continue working even when you are away from the computer.
HP has not yet disclosed detailed OmniDesk specifications.
Pricing is also still unknown.
Pricing Will Be Announced Closer to Launch
HP plans to release both OmniBook RTX Spark laptops in fall 2026.
The OmniBook X 14 will be sold through HP and other retailers.
The OmniBook Ultra 16 will also be available through HP and Best Buy.
Pricing for the laptops and OmniDesk will be announced closer to availability.
The main focus of the lineup is combining large unified memory capacity and Blackwell based AI performance with laptops that remain significantly thinner than traditional high performance mobile workstations.
