GTPLAYER Gaming Chair With Footrest Drops to $109.13 in Amazon Deal

The GTPLAYER Footrest Series LR002 gaming chair is $109.13 at Amazon, and the figure that matters is $20.86. That is what the Amazon price saves against GTPLAYER’s own store, which sells the same black chair for $129.99.

So the 16 percent discount on the listing is measured against a price the brand genuinely charges. That is not always true of a chair at this end of the market.

GTPLAYER LR002 price, seller and stock

Amazon.com holds the buy box, read by hand from the listing’s merchant block, so this is a first-party sale rather than a marketplace offer. The chair is in stock.

There is no Prime-exclusive price here. The $109.13 is the open price, and the listing shows no second, gated figure.

The listing carries a 4.3 star average across 12,930 ratings, and ranks eighth in Amazon’s video game chairs category.

GTPLAYER LR002 specifications

GTPLAYER does publish a real product page for this model, which is worth noting for a marketplace-native furniture brand. The Footrest Series LR002 page names the same SKU, and the dimensions below come from the listing’s own measured drawing.

Where the listing contradicts itself

Several of the headline numbers are the seller’s claims, and some of them disagree. The 300 pound rating appears only as an Amazon field, and GTPLAYER publishes no weight capacity at all.

The same sizing graphic that prints that 300 pound maximum also recommends the chair for users weighing 110 to 175 pounds. It gives a recommended height of 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 13 inches, which is not a height.

The material fields conflict too. GTPLAYER classes the LR002 as a fabric gaming chair finished in what it calls Technology Cloth, while the Amazon spec table says the seat material is faux leather.

Recline is the third disagreement. GTPLAYER says the backrest goes to 165 degrees, and the Amazon table instead lists three reclining positions while the bullet copy describes a step-free recliner.

No foam density, fabric grade or abrasion rating is published by either source. GTPLAYER claims an SGS certified class 3 gas lift and a frame certified to BIFMA standards, but publishes no certificate or test number.

The armrests are the clearest limitation. They move with the backrest, and nothing in either source describes independent height adjustment. There is a removable lumbar pillow rather than an adjustable lumbar mechanism.

How it compares with budget office chairs

At this price the real question is a conventional mesh task chair. All prices here were checked by hand on October 5, 2026, and all three alternatives are sold by Amazon.com rather than a marketplace seller.

ChairPriceRatingBuy box
GTPLAYER LR002 gaming chair$109.134.3 from 12,930 ratingsAmazon.com
Marsail high-back mesh office chair$112.994.2 from 2,005 ratingsAmazon.com
Amazon Basics ergonomic high-back mesh chair$124.944.1 from 583 ratingsAmazon.com
Modway Articulate ergonomic mesh chair$129.494.0 from 5,920 ratingsAmazon.com

The Marsail undercuts the GTPLAYER by $3.86, so the saving buys little separation from a mesh chair. What the GTPLAYER adds is a retractable footrest and a padded seat, which the mesh chairs do not have.

What they add is adjustability. Anyone weighing up seating on a tight budget may find this guide to setting up an ergonomic workstation on any budget more useful than the spec sheet.

Warranty, parts and what is not published

The GTPLAYER warranty page offers one year from the purchase date. The second year is conditional, and requires posting a review on a third-party platform and emailing a screenshot with the order number.

Replacement parts are named in those terms, which is more than most chairs at this price manage. The policy covers pillows, cushions, armrests, the base and the wheels when they arrive missing or damaged.

What is missing is any route after that. GTPLAYER sells no spare parts and publishes no parts pricing, so a worn gas lift or a failed caster in year three has no listed fix.

The warranty contact is also labelled for official site orders, and no separate claims route for Amazon purchases is published. Chair weight, assembly time and the fabric specification are not listed either, and the price can change at any point.

For context on what more money buys, there is this Razer Iskur V2 X review, the Corsair TC80 at $199 with published durability testing, and the Sihoo Doro C300 Pro V2.
