Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands may soon receive a major current generation upgrade, with an Xbox Store listing suggesting that 4K resolution and 60 FPS support are on the way.
The 2017 open world shooter has remained limited to 30 FPS on Xbox consoles, including Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S through backward compatibility. A newly spotted promotional image on the Xbox Store now refers to the full game running at 4K and 60 FPS.
Ubisoft has not officially announced the update, so the listing should still be treated with caution. Store pages can sometimes reveal features early, but they can also contain incorrect or unfinished information.
The same promotional material also mentions a new mission, suggesting that the update may include more than technical improvements. It is not yet clear whether that mission will be available to all owners or only through a specific edition.

The Xbox Store listing points to a long requested performance update

That edition includes the main game and its additional content, but it is not yet known whether the proposed technical update will be restricted to that package.
A paid upgrade would likely disappoint existing owners who have supported the game since 2017. Many publishers have released free 60 FPS patches for older games on Xbox Series X and S, so there is a reasonable possibility that Ubisoft will follow the same approach.
However, no pricing or entitlement details have been confirmed. Players should avoid assuming that ownership of the standard edition will automatically include every new feature until Ubisoft provides an official explanation.

Game Pass members may gain access without buying the game
Ghost Recon Wildlands is currently available through selected Xbox Game Pass tiers.

The Xbox Store image provides strong evidence that an upgrade is being prepared, but release timing, supported platforms and pricing remain unknown. A PlayStation 5 version is also possible, although the available information focuses on Xbox.
If the listing is accurate, the update could arrive within days or weeks. It may also be intended to support renewed interest in the Ghost Recon series before Ubisoft reveals more about its next mainline project.
