The 41mm Garmin Venu 3S in French Gray is $376.38 at Amazon, down from a $449.99 list price. Garmin has already replaced the watch, yet the replacement tracks fewer hours of GPS.

Garmin announced the Venu 4 on 17 September 2025. It went on sale five days later in 41mm and 45mm sizes, starting at $549.99.
The S suffix is gone, so the 41mm Venu 4 is the direct heir to this watch. It costs $173.61 more than the Amazon price here.
Amazon is selling the 41mm case with a soft gold stainless steel bezel. The screen is a 1.2-inch AMOLED at 390 by 390 pixels, backed by 8 GB of storage.
Garmin still lists that part number at $449.99 with no sale applied. That leaves Amazon $73.61 below the maker.
The Venu 4 did not extend the small watch's battery
Garmin quotes the 41mm Venu 4 at up to 10 days in smartwatch mode. GPS-only mode is rated at up to 15 hours.
The Venu 3S matches those 10 days. It is rated at up to 21 hours in GPS-only mode, which is six hours more.
All-Systems GNSS mode runs up to 15 hours on the older watch and 13 on the newer one. The Venu 3S also holds its always-on display for five days rather than three.
The Venu 4 does add hardware the 3S never had. That list includes an LED flashlight, multi-band GNSS, Garmin Fitness Coach plans and a spoken watch face.
Still, on hours away from a charger, the 2023 watch is the stronger of the two small Venu models.

Garmin Venu 3S specifications
Garmin fits the 3S to wrists between 110 and 175 mm. The 45mm Venu 3 starts at 135 mm, so the small case is the one for narrower wrists.

The tracking list is deep for a watch this small. Garmin names Body Battery, a sleep score and coaching, nap detection, HRV status and fitness age.
There is also a wheelchair mode that counts pushes instead of steps. The spec sheet lists the Garmin ECG app and Pulse Ox as well.
How the small Venu compares on price
The 45mm Venu 3 is the same watch in a bigger body. Garmin gives it a 1.4-inch 454 by 454 screen, 22mm bands and up to 14 days in smartwatch mode.
The two spec tables are otherwise identical. Both sizes carry the same sensors, the same ECG app and the same 8 GB of storage.
| Model | Price at the time of writing | Smartwatch mode | GPS-only mode |
|---|---|---|---|
| Garmin Venu 3S, 41mm, French Gray | $376.38 at Amazon | Up to 10 days | Up to 21 hours |
| Garmin Venu 3S, 41mm, Pebble Gray | $419.90 at Amazon, third-party seller | Up to 10 days | Up to 21 hours |
| Garmin Venu 3, 45mm | $449.99 at Garmin | Up to 14 days | Up to 26 hours |
| Garmin Venu 4, 41mm | $549.99 at Garmin | Up to 10 days | Up to 15 hours |
| Google Pixel Watch 5, 45mm | $429.99 at Amazon | Up to 40 hours, per the listing | Not listed |
Colour changes the maths on Amazon. All five Venu 3S finishes sit at $449.99 on Garmin's own store.
The Pebble Gray version of the same 41mm watch is $419.90, and it comes from a marketplace seller. The French Gray unit ships from Amazon itself.
The Google Pixel Watch 5 in 45mm is $429.99, and it recently sold for less. Its listing quotes up to 40 hours of battery.
What the Venu 3S needs from a phone
Calls and voice replies work only with a paired compatible smartphone. Text responses and photo messages from notifications are Android-only.
The ECG app has more strings attached. Garmin says it needs the latest Garmin Connect phone app and watch software.
That app is not available in all regions, and it is intended for adults aged 22 and over. Pulse Ox is also absent in some countries.
Custom workouts are built in the Garmin Connect app and sent to the watch. The thermometer row on the spec sheet depends on a separate tempe sensor.
A full Garmin Venu 3S review covers how those features behave day to day. The vivoactive 6 covers similar ground in a cheaper body.
What is not published
Amazon does not publish an end date for this price. It also does not say how long Amazon itself will hold the French Gray listing.
Garmin lists a proprietary plug charger but gives no charge time. Nor does it state whether a Garmin Connect account is required for the on-watch features.
Prices move, so $376.38 holds only at the time of writing.
