Sony’s June 2026 State of Play was led by Marvel’s Wolverine, but the showcase also included several games coming to Xbox and PC. The event gave players new looks at Rayman Legends Retold, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Ace Combat 8, Dune: Awakening, Control: Resonant, Stuntman: Hollywood, ILL, and more.
The biggest surprise for platforming fans was Rayman Legends Retold. The new Rayman game brings back the series’ bright, fast, and chaotic platforming style with solo play and four player co op. Rayman and his friends are once again fighting to protect the Glade of Dreams, and the game is set to launch on October 1, 2026, for Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis also received a new trailer. The game is a reimagining of the original 1996 Tomb Raider, with Lara Croft exploring ancient ruins, solving puzzles, finding relics, and facing dangerous creatures. It is scheduled for February 12, 2026, on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Onimusha, Ace Combat, and Dune added more variety to the show
Capcom gave players another look at Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the long awaited return of the samurai action series. The trailer showed more sword fighting and confirmed that the game will launch on September 25, 2026. A playable demo is also available now on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Bandai Namco revealed Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, the next game in its aerial combat series. The game will include a single player campaign along with co op and PvP multiplayer modes with crossplay support. It is coming October 2, 2026, to Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Dune: Awakening is also heading to consoles after its PC release. The console edition will arrive on September 22, 2026, for Xbox Series X and S and PlayStation 5, with Xbox Game Pass support included. This version will bring the open world survival game to more players, along with a new single player campaign, additional storylines, and gameplay improvements.

Control: Resonant received a new story trailer focused on its supernatural world and reality bending action. The sequel continues Remedy’s strange and mysterious universe, with players once again dealing with cosmic threats and the Federal Bureau of Control.
Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered was another nostalgia driven announcement. The remaster brings back one of the most important games in the long running hack and slash series, with 40 playable warriors and large scale battles built around the classic one versus thousands power fantasy.
Silent Hill: Townfall also appeared with a new trailer and a September 24, 2026 release date for PlayStation 5 and PC. The game follows Simon Ordell as he arrives on the fog covered island of St. Amelia and finds himself trapped in a nightmare filled with monsters, puzzles, and limited resources.
For racing and movie fans, Stuntman: Hollywood was one of the most exciting reveals. The game revives the stunt driving series with official movie and TV licenses, including Back to the Future, Knight Rider, Miami Vice, Death Race, and Fast and Furious. It will launch later for Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
The horror game ILL also received a story trailer. It is a first person survival horror game set inside a research fortress filled with grotesque creatures. Players will need to scavenge weapons and medical supplies while trying to survive and uncover what happened inside the facility.
Sony’s State of Play may have been built around PlayStation, but Xbox and PC players still had plenty to watch. The showcase delivered platformers, horror games, remasters, action titles, survival games, and racing chaos. Marvel’s Wolverine may have taken most of the attention, but the multiplatform lineup made the event much more useful for players outside the PlayStation ecosystem.
