Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to Battle.net later in 2026, expanding the growing partnership between CD Projekt Red and Blizzard.
The announcement follows confirmation that The Witcher 3 is also heading to the platform. Blizzard and CD Projekt Red used BlizzCon 2026 to show that their collaboration will go beyond simply adding games to the same launcher.
Alongside the Cyberpunk 2077 release, Blizzard also revealed a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration for Overwatch and showed a Geralt themed Barbarian skin for Diablo 4.
Both companies also indicated that more projects are planned for 2027.

Cyberpunk 2077 expands Battle.net beyond Blizzard games
Bringing Cyberpunk 2077 to Battle.net adds another major single player RPG to a launcher that has traditionally been associated with Blizzard's own franchises.
Players who prefer to keep more of their PC library inside Battle.net will be able to access Night City from the same platform used for games such as Diablo and Overwatch.

Blizzard confirmed that Overwatch will receive a crossover based on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the animated series set in the Cyberpunk universe.
Specific skins have not yet been revealed, and Blizzard has not detailed which Overwatch heroes will represent characters from the series.
The crossover opens several possibilities because Edgerunners has a distinct visual style built around characters such as David Martinez, Lucy and Rebecca.

Geralt is coming to Diablo 4 as a Barbarian skin
Diablo 4 players also received their first look at a Geralt of Rivia themed cosmetic.
The skin transforms the Barbarian into a character styled after Geralt and was shown running in the game during the BlizzCon presentation.
The cosmetic will be available to players who preorder The Witcher 3's upcoming Songs of the Past expansion through Battle.net.
This gives Blizzard another way to connect the two companies' franchises while also encouraging players to use Battle.net for future CD Projekt Red releases.
Blizzard and CD Projekt Red plan more for 2027
