Corsair Voxara USB Microphone Launches With 32 Bit Audio and OLED Display

Corsair has entered the premium USB condenser microphone market with the Voxara, a new desktop microphone aimed at gamers, streamers, and content creators who want higher quality audio without moving to a more complicated studio setup.

The Voxara combines a large condenser capsule with 32 bit audio support, a 192 kHz sample rate, onboard controls, an OLED display, RGB lighting, and integration with Elgato's Wave Link software. It is available now in black and white for $199.99.

One of the main hardware features is a 25 mm condenser capsule. Corsair says the larger capsule is designed to capture voices with more detail and a fuller sound compared with more conventional gaming microphones.

The microphone also supports 32 bit audio recording, putting it in the same general category as newer premium USB microphones designed to give creators more flexibility when dealing with changing volume levels.

OLED display provides direct control

Corsair has added an integrated OLED display so you can monitor important microphone settings without relying entirely on software.

Elgato Wave Link handles mixing and customization

Corsair is also leaning heavily on Elgato's existing audio software ecosystem.

Through Wave Link, you can combine several audio sources and control how those sources are mixed before they reach a stream, recording, or voice chat application. RGB lighting effects can also be adjusted through the software.

This gives the Voxara access to a more mature software platform rather than requiring Corsair to build a separate audio mixing system specifically for the microphone.

Wave Link can be particularly useful for streamers who need separate control over microphone audio, game sound, music, voice chat, and other sources.

Voice Focus targets keyboard noise and room echo

Another major feature is Voice Focus, an audio processing system powered by ai|coustics.

Corsair says the technology is designed to reduce unwanted background noise, including keyboard sounds, while also limiting room echo and reverberation.

That could make the Voxara more practical in ordinary bedrooms, offices, and gaming rooms where acoustic treatment is limited.

Traditional condenser microphones can be sensitive enough to capture unwanted environmental noise, so software based cleanup is becoming increasingly important in gaming and creator microphones.

The effectiveness of that processing will ultimately depend on real world testing, but the feature gives the Voxara another option for people who want cleaner speech without installing acoustic panels or using a complicated signal chain.
