Control Resonant PC Requirements Range From GTX 1070 to RTX 5080

Remedy Entertainment has revealed the PC system requirements for Control Resonant ahead of its September 24 release, with separate hardware targets for standard rendering and ray tracing.

The requirements cover resolutions from 1080p to 4K and frame rates from 30 FPS to 60 FPS. Players who do not plan to use ray tracing can run the game on considerably older hardware, while the highest path tracing preset requires an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080.

All listed configurations use upscaling rather than native resolution rendering.

Control Resonant standard PC requirements

The minimum standard configuration targets 1080p at 30 FPS using the Low graphics preset and Quality upscaling. Remedy lists a GTX 1070, Radeon RX 5600 XT or Intel Arc A580 as suitable graphics cards.

For 1440p at 60 FPS, the recommended configuration moves up to an RTX 3060 Ti, Radeon RX 6700 XT or Intel Arc B580.

The enthusiast target is designed for 4K at 60 FPS with High graphics settings and Performance upscaling. That configuration requires an RTX 3080 or Radeon RX 6800 XT.

All configurations require 16 GB of RAM and 120 GB of SSD storage.

Ray tracing sharply raises the GPU requirement

The ray tracing requirements are substantially heavier.

The minimum RT target calls for an RTX 2060 Super, Radeon RX 6600 or Intel Arc A580 to reach 1080p at 30 FPS using Quality upscaling and the Low ray tracing preset.

Moving to 1440p at 60 FPS with Medium ray tracing requires an RTX 4070 Ti or Radeon RX 9070.

The most demanding configuration is the path tracing enthusiast preset. Remedy targets 4K at 60 FPS with High settings, High ray tracing and Performance upscaling using an RTX 5080.

No AMD or Intel alternative is listed for that configuration.

DLSS 4.5 and FSR 4.1 will be available

Control Resonant will support Nvidia DLSS 4.5 and AMD FSR 4.1 at launch. Frame generation will also be available to help improve performance on supported hardware.

Remedy has additionally confirmed DLSS Ray Reconstruction, HDR and ultrawide monitor support for the PC version.

The published targets make it clear that upscaling is built into every official performance tier, including the lowest settings. Players comparing their systems with the requirements should therefore consider both the listed resolution and the corresponding upscaler preset.

Control Resonant launches on September 24, 2026, for PC, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PlayStation 5.
