Call of Duty: Warzone Gets Two New Maps, Gameplay Changes and Modern Warfare 4 Integration on November 6

Call of Duty: Warzone is receiving a major update on November 6, 2026, as Activision integrates the game with Modern Warfare 4 Season 1. The update introduces two new maps, additional weapons, gameplay improvements and several limited time modes.

The integration also marks the end of Warzone support for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, while bringing the game to Nintendo Switch for the first time.

Players will gain access to Modern Warfare 4 weapons, attachments, progression systems, Battle Pass content and camouflage challenges.

Warzone Season 1 Introduces Hajin and Zodiac Maps

Two new maps will be available when Season 1 launches.

Hajin is a large Battle Royale map spanning locations inspired by North and South Korea. Previously featured in Modern Warfare 4's DMZ mode, it includes varied terrain, urban environments and open spaces.

The map also supports changing weather conditions, including fog, and introduces two new Gulag locations.

Zodiac is a smaller Resurgence map set around a drone manufacturing facility in South Korea.

Classic maps Verdansk and Rebirth Island will return later during the season.

Warzone Gets New Movement and Combat Features

Activision is introducing several gameplay improvements intended to make movement and combat more consistent.

Tactical Sprint will become available to every Operator without requiring a perk, although its duration will be reduced.

Players will also be able to drag teammates while reviving them, providing additional protection during combat.

Other changes include improved footstep audio, better visibility and further weapon balancing.

Interactive objects such as fuel barrels and movable cover will appear across several maps.

Elite Perks will also become available through Buy Stations and Supply Run contracts, allowing players to equip a fourth perk temporarily.

New Game Modes and Mastery Challenges Arrive

Season 1 introduces three limited time modes alongside the returning casual playlists.

Additional modes, including Rockets and Snipers and Extreme Resurgence, are planned for later.

Warzone will also introduce three dedicated Mastery camouflage challenges named Parallax, Damascus Reforged and Empyros.

These require completing specific elimination and placement objectives across multiple matches.

The November 6 update brings significant changes to Warzone's maps, progression and combat systems as the game moves into its Modern Warfare 4 season.
