Call Of Duty: Vanguard And EA Sports FC 26 Lead Xbox Game Pass June Wave

Microsoft has announced the second wave of Xbox Game Pass additions for June 2026, with Call of Duty: Vanguard, EA Sports FC 26, RV There Yet?, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, and more joining the service. The new batch starts rolling out on June 16 and continues into early July across cloud, console, handheld, and PC.

The biggest names in this wave are Call of Duty: Vanguard and EA Sports FC 26. Vanguard gives Game Pass another older Call of Duty entry, while EA Sports FC 26 brings the latest soccer release from EA to subscribers. Microsoft has already said newer Call of Duty games will no longer arrive on Game Pass on launch day, but older entries can still be added over time.

This update arrives while Microsoft is dealing with major changes inside Xbox Game Studios, including reports of layoffs and possible studio closures. Even so, the Game Pass release schedule is continuing, with both major franchises and smaller games filling out the rest of June.

Every Xbox Game Pass game confirmed for late June

The second wave includes seven games, with Junkster being the only day one release in this group. The rest are a mix of older major releases, sports games, indie titles, and upcoming additions that extend into early July.

Junkster is the only brand new launch into Game Pass from this list. It arrives on June 16 and supports several Xbox platforms, including handheld access.

Call of Duty: Vanguard gives Game Pass another older shooter

Call of Duty: Vanguard arrives on June 17 across cloud, console, and PC. The 2021 shooter is not one of the newer Call of Duty entries, but its arrival still expands the franchise’s Game Pass presence.

This fits Microsoft’s current approach. The company is not bringing the newest Call of Duty games to Game Pass at launch anymore, but older titles remain useful additions. For subscribers who skipped Vanguard or want to revisit it, this is a straightforward way to try it without buying it separately.

The move also keeps Call of Duty visible on the service while Microsoft continues to handle the franchise differently from most other first party Xbox games.

EA Sports FC 26 is the other major addition

EA Sports FC 26 joins Game Pass on June 18 for cloud, console, and PC. For sports fans, this is likely the biggest addition of the wave.

Soccer games usually stay active for a full season because of Ultimate Team, online modes, career play, and regular squad updates. Adding EA Sports FC 26 gives Game Pass a high profile sports title that can attract both casual players and longtime EA soccer fans.

It also strengthens the service’s June lineup, which otherwise leans on a mix of smaller and older releases.

Eight games are leaving Game Pass on June 30

As usual, new arrivals also come with removals. Eight games will leave Xbox Game Pass on June 30, including several popular titles.

The departures include strong indie games such as Slay the Spire and Unpacking, plus two Tomb Raider titles. Anyone still playing these games should finish them before June 30 or use the Game Pass purchase discount before they leave.

July already has several Game Pass games lined up

Microsoft is expected to reveal the first full July wave in about two weeks, but several games are already confirmed for the month. The list includes Halo: Campaign Evolved, Corsair Cove, SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed, and Mistfall Hunter.

That means Game Pass will move from a June wave led by Call of Duty: Vanguard and EA Sports FC 26 into a July lineup with another major Xbox owned release. For subscribers, the next few weeks bring a mix of shooters, sports, skating, co op driving, and indie fantasy games.

The June wave may not be the largest Game Pass update of the year, but it has enough variety to matter. Call of Duty: Vanguard and EA Sports FC 26 will draw the most attention, while Junkster, RV There Yet?, and Abyssus give subscribers smaller games to try between major releases.
