Bethesda Marks 40th Anniversary With a $160 Fallout Nuka-Girl Statue

Bethesda has opened preorders for a new Fallout Nuka-Girl statue as part of its 40th anniversary merchandise lineup.

The collectible costs $160 and stands 12.8 inches, or 32.51 centimetres, tall. It is made from PVC and shows the Nuka-Cola mascot leaning against a branded rocket while wearing her familiar white space suit.

Bethesda has not used the anniversary to provide a substantial update on Fallout 5 or The Elder Scrolls 6. Both games remain in development, but neither has a confirmed release date. The statue instead gives Fallout collectors a new official product to display while the wait for Bethesda’s next major role playing games continues.

The company has also introduced anniversary clothing featuring a revised logo inspired by its branding from the 1990s.

The Nuka-Girl Statue Is Available for Preorder

Nuka-Girl is a fictional advertising character used by the Nuka-Cola corporation within the Fallout universe. Her retro science fiction design reflects the series’ combination of 1950s consumer culture and post-apocalyptic imagery.

The new statue presents the character next to a Nuka-Cola rocket, with company branding displayed prominently across the design.

Bethesda describes the model as a detailed display piece intended to attract attention in a collection. Its relatively large size places it above smaller desk figures, although it remains more affordable than some premium Nuka-Girl collectibles released by specialist manufacturers.

A similar 13 inch statue from another collectibles company has previously been offered for $499 in its standard form. Bethesda’s official version provides a lower cost alternative for people interested in the character, though $160 is still a substantial price for a PVC model.

The company has not provided detailed information about production numbers, preorder limits, or whether the statue will remain available after its initial release.

Bethesda Has Also Revived an Older Logo Style

Bethesda recently changed its usual black text logo to a glowing red anniversary design.

The typeface draws from the company’s visual identity during the 1990s, giving the new branding a connection to its earlier years. The logo has also been printed on 40th anniversary shirts added to Bethesda’s merchandise store.

The company was founded in 1986 and developed early games before becoming closely associated with large role playing franchises. Its best known properties now include The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Starfield.

Bethesda’s history includes games such as The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout 4, and Starfield. These releases helped establish the studio’s reputation for large open worlds built around exploration and player choice.

The anniversary merchandise celebrates that history, but it arrives while many players are more interested in the company’s upcoming projects.

Fallout 5 Remains in Preproduction

Fallout 5 has been acknowledged as a future Bethesda project, but it is still described as being in preproduction.

The studio’s current development priorities mean the game is unlikely to arrive soon. Bethesda has repeatedly said that The Elder Scrolls 6 will come before the next main Fallout title, placing Fallout 5 further into the future.

The wait has become more noticeable because Fallout 4 originally launched in 2015. Fallout 76 followed in 2018 as an online entry, but the series has not received another traditional single player release since Fallout 4.

Interest in the franchise remains strong, supported by updates, community projects, older games, and the television adaptation. That popularity has increased demand for clearer information about Fallout’s gaming future.

The new statue does not provide any clues about Fallout 5’s setting, characters, release window, or development progress. It is a separate merchandise product rather than part of a game announcement.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Still Has No Release Date

The Elder Scrolls 6 was announced in 2018 through a short teaser. Eight years later, Bethesda has still shared few concrete details about the RPG.

The project is moving forward, but the studio has not announced its location, gameplay systems, platforms, or launch timing. Bethesda leadership has acknowledged that the development process is taking a long time and has said the company does not want to rush the game at the cost of quality.

That leaves players with a long gap after Skyrim, which first launched in 2011 and has since appeared on several generations of hardware.

Bethesda’s anniversary would have been a natural opportunity for a development update, but the company has focused part of its celebration on merchandise and historical branding instead.

The Nuka-Girl statue may appeal to established Fallout collectors, particularly those looking for a large official display piece at a lower price than some premium alternatives. For players waiting for Fallout 5 or The Elder Scrolls 6, however, the product does not change the limited information currently available about either game.
