This is a full-size ATX board for AMD's AM5 socket, built on the B650 chipset, with four DDR5 slots, three M.2 slots and Wi-Fi 6E. ASUS lists support for Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 Series desktop processors, which covers every generation currently sold for the platform.
What the $132.99 price is measured against
Amazon presents the cut as a List Price of $169.99 with a 22 percent savings badge. The arithmetic holds up, since $132.99 is 21.8 percent below $169.99.
That anchor looks conservative rather than invented. B&H Photo has been indexed at $199.99 for the same board and Newegg at $194.99, both above Amazon's reference figure.
The listing is shipped and sold by Amazon.com rather than a marketplace seller. A used copy in Like New condition sits lower on the same page at $126.34, which is a separate Amazon Resale offer and not the deal itself.
Context matters on timing. Component pricing is under upward pressure, and AMD GPU and motherboard prices could rise around 10 percent as TSMC costs increase.

The PCIe 5.0 slot depends on which Ryzen goes in
ASUS qualifies the headline feature on its tech spec page. The primary x16 slot runs at PCIe 5.0 with Ryzen 9000 and 7000 Series chips, and falls back to PCIe 4.0 x16 in x8 or x4 mode with Ryzen 8000 Series parts.
The same split applies to storage. M.2_1 is a PCIe 5.0 x4 slot on Ryzen 9000 and 7000, while the other two M.2 slots run at PCIe 4.0 x4.
So a build around an APU such as the Ryzen 5 8600G would not reach the ceiling the listing advertises. The product page states the PCIe 5.0 x16 slot flatly, without the generation caveat.
One further constraint comes from the same spec sheet. The second full-length PCIe 4.0 slot shares bandwidth with the third M.2 slot, so filling both costs lanes.
How it compares with other AM5 boards on sale
The closest comparison is ASUS's own TUF Gaming B650E-E WIFI at $145.99. It carries the same PCIe 5.0 wiring but 8+2+1 power stages against 12+2+1 here, and 8+4 pin CPU power against 8+8 pin.
Cheaper still is the GIGABYTE B650 AORUS Elite AX at $124.35, down from a $149.99 reference price. Gigabyte's spec list gives it a PCIe 4.0 x16 graphics slot, so the PCIe 5.0 support there covers the top M.2 only.

All three are shipped and sold by Amazon.com at the time of writing. Each one carries Wi-Fi 6E and 2.5Gb Ethernet.
What the listing leaves out
ASUS fills several gaps the product page skips. None of the three M.2 slots accepts a SATA M.2 drive, and the audio codec is a Realtek ALC1220P that the listing never names.
Memory is another mismatch. Amazon's spec table gives 6000 MHz, while ASUS quotes up to 8000+MT/s with overclocking and lists AMD EXPO support, and ASUS is preparing AM5 BIOS updates to improve DDR5 memory latency.
The DisplayPort and HDMI outputs also need a Ryzen chip with integrated graphics, which the listing does not say. One bullet claims a Q-Dashboard feature that does not appear on ASUS's own Q-Design list.
Amazon publishes no end date for the discount, no stock count and no price history for this board, so there is no way to call $132.99 a floor. The shipping BIOS revision is not listed either, which matters for anyone pairing it with a newer Ryzen part.
