Asus celebrates 20 years of ROG with a wide Edition 20 hardware lineup

Asus has marked the 20th anniversary of its Republic of Gamers brand with a large Edition 20 product lineup at Computex 2026. The collection covers gaming components, laptops, desktops, peripherals, lifestyle gear, and even travel accessories, all using a black and gold anniversary theme with special 20 year branding.

ROG began in 2006, and Asus is using the anniversary to show how far the brand has grown beyond motherboards and graphics cards. The Edition 20 range now touches nearly every part of a gaming setup, from the chair and backpack to the GPU, monitor, keyboard, mouse, router, and full desktop PC.

The design approach depends on the product. Some lifestyle items are surprisingly subtle. The ROG Destrier chair, backpack, and suitcase use gold touches and anniversary badges without looking too loud. They still carry the ROG identity, but they could fit more easily into casual or even business travel settings.

The PC components are much more direct. Asus showed the X870E Crosshair Edition 20 motherboard, the ROG Ryujin 360 Edition 20 liquid cooler, and the GR20 Edition 20 open frame chassis. These parts are clearly made for showcase builds, with gold accents, anniversary details, and a more dramatic appearance.

The most extravagant product is the ROG Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20. It builds on Asus’s already high end Astral RTX 5090 design, but adds a curved AMOLED display that can show real time system metrics and custom animations. It also uses a transparent glass backplate with ROG and Edition 20 styling.

The card is built for extreme systems. It can draw up to 800W through a dual input GC HPWR connector, which explains why Asus also showed a massive ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 power supply. That PSU is designed to handle as many as four RTX 5090 graphics cards at once, which makes it far beyond what normal gaming PCs need.

Asus also covered buyers who do not want to build their own PC. The ROG NUC 16 Edition 20 packs an RTX 5090 mobile GPU into a slim 3 liter system with up to 300W total system power. The ROG G1000 Edition 20 desktop goes bigger, with up to a Ryzen 9 9950X3D, an RTX 5090, and a 420mm liquid cooler.

One of the more unusual details is the holographic AniMe fan in the ROG G1000 Edition 20. Asus says it can display custom visuals, which fits the broader anniversary theme of turning PC hardware into something more expressive and showpiece focused.

The peripherals also received special treatment. The ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20 keyboard includes carbon fiber and 24K gold elements, while the ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 mouse completes the matching setup. Asus also showed an Edition 20 version of its ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP G monitor and a special ROG Rapture GT BE98 Pro router.

The lineup is not only about performance. It is also about brand loyalty. Asus is clearly speaking to long time ROG fans who want a full themed setup rather than just one special edition part. The company has built enough products here that someone could create an entire Edition 20 desk, PC, and travel kit.

Pricing and availability are still the biggest unknowns. Some lifestyle products may see only limited release, while the hardware products are more likely to reach retail in some form. Given the materials, OLED displays, gold accents, and high end components, many of these products will likely sit in the premium category.

The Edition 20 lineup shows how much ROG has changed over two decades. What began as a gaming hardware label has become a full ecosystem of PCs, parts, displays, peripherals, and lifestyle gear. Some products are practical, some are excessive, and some are clearly made for collectors. Together, they show Asus celebrating ROG in the most ROG way possible: with more hardware than most people could ever fit on one desk.
