Aniimo Global Release Times Confirmed Ahead of September 15 Launch

Aniimo is preparing for its global launch, with the free to play creature collecting RPG scheduled to go live on September 15 or September 16 depending on your region.

The game is set in the continent of Idyll and focuses on exploring an open world filled with creatures that you can find and recruit. Its structure invites comparisons with games such as Palworld, although Aniimo appears to place less emphasis on survival crafting and weapon based combat.

Aniimo is also being promoted as a free to play title without a traditional gacha system, which could make its monetisation model one of the more interesting parts of the launch.

Aniimo launches at different times depending on region

The launch begins on September 15 in the United States, while players in several other regions will gain access on September 16 because of time zone differences.

Players on the US West Coast can start at 7 PM PST on September 15, while those on the East Coast can begin at 10 PM EST.

The UK release follows at 3 AM BST on September 16. European players can enter at 4 PM CEST, while Australia is scheduled for 12 PM AEST and New Zealand for 3 PM NZST.

The published regional schedule appears unusual in places because several listed times do not line up as one simple simultaneous global conversion. Players should therefore rely on the official launcher or regional storefront information if the displayed countdown differs from these published times.

Preloading is already available

Players who want to start as soon as the servers open can preload Aniimo before release.

The preload became available on September 14 at 10 AM UTC+8. You can download the dedicated launcher and then install the game in advance.

The installed game is listed at roughly 40GB, although the initial download may be smaller. One reported installation required around 28GB of downloaded data.

Preloading should reduce the amount of waiting required when the game officially becomes available, although additional launch day patches are still possible.

Aniimo enters a crowded creature collecting market

Aniimo arrives at a time when open world creature collecting games have become increasingly competitive.

Its main appeal comes from combining exploration with a large selection of recruitable creatures while avoiding some of the heavier survival systems found in other games in the genre.

The decision to launch as a free to play game could also lower the barrier to entry. However, the exact long term monetisation approach will be important, especially because the game is said not to rely on a standard gacha structure.

PC players who are unsure whether their system can handle the game should check the published hardware requirements before downloading.

With preloading already available and the first regional launch times approaching, Aniimo is now entering its final stage before release. Players in the United States will get access first on September 15, followed by other regions on September 16.
