The Xbox Ultimate Game Sale 2026 concluded on July 29 after offering discounts across more than 2,000 games through the Microsoft Store.
The promotion covered a wide range of Xbox releases, including recent games, major role playing titles, shooters, family games, and older catalogue releases. Discounts reached as high as 95 percent, although the reduction varied by title, edition, and region.
Several of the strongest offers focused on large games that normally carry premium prices. Cyberpunk 2077 received a 70 percent discount, while Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order were reduced by 90 percent.
The sale also included newer releases such as Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Battlefield 6, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Some of the biggest discounts were attached to complete editions
Players looking for longer games had several notable options during the promotion.
Dead Space Digital Deluxe Edition was reduced by 85 percent, bringing its price down to £11.99 or $11.99. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy received the same discount and was available for £8.99 or $8.99.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition was one of the lowest priced packages in the sale. It includes remastered versions of the original three Mass Effect games and was available for £5.99 or $5.99.

Recent games also received meaningful reductions
The sale was not limited to older catalogue titles.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows was reduced by 55 percent to £31.49 or $31.49. Battlefield 6 received a 50 percent discount, lowering its price to £34.99 or $34.99.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was available for £23.99 or $27.99 after a 60 percent reduction. Silent Hill 2 also received a 60 percent discount and dropped to £21.99 in the UK and $27.99 in the US.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade received one of the strongest reductions among newer role playing games. Its price fell by 65 percent to £13.99 or $13.99.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was discounted by 40 percent, while Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 received a smaller 25 percent reduction.

The range made the event useful for people who wanted a newer game without paying the normal launch price.
Smaller discounts still covered several anticipated releases
Not every game received a large reduction.
REANIMAL was discounted by 20 percent, while Marathon received a 30 percent reduction. Split Fiction was 35 percent cheaper, and Screamer was reduced by 40 percent.
Stray received a 50 percent discount and was available for £12.49 or $14.99.
The NBA 2K26 and PGA Tour 2K25 bundle offered a larger 75 percent reduction, bringing two sports games together for £22.49 or $24.99.
Although the Ultimate Game Sale has ended, many of these titles are likely to return in future Xbox promotions. Microsoft regularly runs publisher sales, seasonal events, and weekly discounts through the Deals section of the store.
Players who missed a specific offer may therefore have another opportunity later in the year, although future prices and discount percentages are not guaranteed.
