Sony's BRAVIA Theater Bar 6 is listed at $448.00 at Amazon, which is $1.99 below the $449.99 Sony charges on its own store. The 36 percent badge on the listing is measured against a $699.99 list price that nobody is charging at the moment, Sony included.

The model number is HT-B600, and it is a 3.1.2-channel bar that ships with a wireless subwoofer. The two height channels are physical up-firing drivers rather than a processing effect, which is the part that separates it from most bars near this money.
What the $448 actually buys
The box holds the bar and the subwoofer, and nothing else that makes a sound. Sony lists the bar unit as the SA-G700 and the wireless subwoofer as the SA-WG700.
The supplied accessories on Sony's product page are an AC cord, an HDMI cable, a plug adaptor, a foot, a remote with batteries, a wall mounting template and the paperwork. Rear speakers are not included, and Sony offers none as an add-on for this model.
Amazon's price is the lower of the two first-party options, by the same slim margin seen when the 48-inch BRAVIA 6 OLED fell to $1,098. Amazon.com holds the buy box, so this is not a marketplace listing.

Where the Dolby Atmos comes from
Sony describes a 3.1.2-channel system built from three front-firing speakers, dual up-firing speakers and the included wireless subwoofer. That is six driver units in all.
The up-firing pair is real hardware. Sony says those speakers direct sound off the ceiling, so the height layer is bounced rather than simulated, and Dolby Atmos material arriving over eARC has somewhere to go.
Virtual processing is listed separately, as S-Force PRO and Vertical Surround Engine. Sony applies that to material that is not already Atmos or DTS:X, which is a distinction worth checking on any bar at this price.
What the listing leaves out
There is no HDMI input. Sony's spec sheet reads "Input / Output: - / 1 (eARC / ARC)", so the single HDMI port is an output that runs to the TV.
Nothing can be plugged into the bar, which rules out 4K120 or VRR passthrough for a console. A console has to connect to the TV instead, with audio returned over eARC.
Wi-Fi is absent from the spec table entirely. Wireless streaming is Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC and AAC only, so there is no AirPlay, Chromecast or Spotify Connect.
Sony also publishes no total power output for the HT-B600. The only wattage on the sheet is power consumption, at roughly 35 W for the bar and 20 W for the subwoofer.
How it compares at the same money
| Model | Price | Configuration | Buy box |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sony BRAVIA Theater Bar 6 | $448.00 | 3.1.2 with wireless sub, two up-firing drivers | Amazon.com |
| Sony BRAVIA Theater Bar 5 | $278.00 | 3.1 with wireless sub, no up-firing drivers | Amazon.com |
| LG S70TY | $289.99 | 3.1.1 with wireless sub | Amazon.com |
| Amazon Fire TV Soundbar Plus | $374.99 | 3.1 with sub, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X | Amazon.com |
| Sony BRAVIA Theater Bar 7 | $618.00 | 5.0.2 with nine drivers, no subwoofer in the box | Amazon.com |
The Theater Bar 5 saves $170.00 but drops to 3.1 channels, so its height effect is entirely virtual. The Fire TV Soundbar Plus is a different product with a similar pitch, at 3.1 with a sub and no height drivers listed.
The Theater Bar 7 adds up-firing and side-firing drivers plus Wi-Fi, but arrives without a subwoofer at $618.00. Anyone shopping wider can also look at the soundbar price cuts across Bose, JBL and Samsung and at the Samsung HW Q990H at $1,049.99.
Amazon flags this as a limited time deal, and the page data puts the end on October 12, although that date does not appear in the listing copy. Sony does not publish an output figure, a frequency range or a crossover point for the subwoofer, and no price history is available. All prices are as of October 5, 2026, and either store can change them.
